Rookie tackle Mark Wilson was injured in his first NFL start. The Redskins may have to shuffle their O-line- again.
Washington has needed to put a different starting unit on the field every week.
  • LV Kicker (FG)
Raiders signed K Aaron Elling and placed OT Mark Wilson (broken leg) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Elling is purely insurance for Sebastian Janikowski, who’s a little banged up. Al Davis wouldn’t dare make his prized former first-round pick compete.
  • Raiders signed T Mark Wilson off their practice squad and T Jonathan Palmer off the Steelers’ practice squad.
Palmer and Wilson are two prospects the Raiders will give a look see in Week 17 and the offseason. They’re probably not long-term solutions.
  • Raiders released OT Mark Wilson.
Wilson broke his left leg early in camp and was going to miss the regular season. He reached an injury settlement with the Raiders.
  • Raiders OT Mark Wilson broke his left leg in practice Sunday. He will be placed on injured reserve, ending his season.
Oakland once had high hopes for Wilson, but he never took an expected step forward. Mario Henderson will likely be the Raiders’ third tackle this year.
  • DET Tight End
Raiders re-signed exclusive rights free agent TE John Madsen, WR Chris McFoy, LS Jon Condo, LB Ricky Brown, and OT Mark Wilson.
Madsen is basically a wideout playing tight end. He caught eight balls for 102 yards in 2007. Oakland is especially high on Wilson as a left tackle prospect. There’s an outside chance he’ll get a look there along with Kwame Harris.
  • The Redskins signed tackle Mark Wilson.
The fifth-round pick is the second Washington draftee to sign.
