Eagles signed Clemson CB Mario Goodrich.
He gets $217,000 guaranteed on the UDFA deal, positioning Goodrich to make the team. Goodrich (6’0/176) played mostly in a reserve role during his first three seasons for the Clemson Tigers. His first full year as a starter in 2021 was his best. He doubled his career snaps and was able to thrive after the departure of Derin Kendrick. His 84.4 PFF grade combined with two interceptions and seven pass breakups earned him first-team All-ACC honors and third-team All-American honors from PFF. Goodrich is a quick and physical player that lacks the requisite speed and athleticism to be a great player at the next level.
