  • MIA Wide Receiver
Marcus Vick caught two passes for 12 yards as the Dolphins fell to the Jaguars 31-26 in both teams’ opening exhibition game Saturday.
Fred Gibson led Miami in receiving with three catches for 84 yards and a score. Vick also worked on the ‘Fins’ punt and kick return units.
  • MIA Wide Receiver
WR/QB/KR Marcus Vick was impressive at Dolphins practice Saturday.
Vick worked both as a quarterback and receiver. He’ll likely need to keep playing at a high level to make Miami’s roster.

Nick Saban has some plans for how to use Marcus Vick at wide receiver and quarterback.
“We might put him at quarterback and put him in to run some gun runs,” Saban said. The coach blushed at the unfortunate wording and added, “He’s got a lot of practice there.” Yes, that second quote was entirely fabricated.

Ex-Dolphins WR Marcus Vick has been sentenced to 20 days in jail for violating his probation.
Vick had been on probation after he was convicted of DUI and eluding police in October of last year. He admitted in court that he would test positive for marijuana if tested. Michael better keep his distance.

Former Dolphins WR Marcus Vick has been charged with a DUI and eluding the police in his hometown of Newport News, Virginia.
Vick was last seen shirtless, answering the door for reporters during his brother’s legal imbroglio. Vick apparently drove away from cops after they asked for his license. That one never works.

Former Dolphins WR Marcus Vick pleaded guilty to DUI, eluding police, and driving on the wrong side of the road in a Norfolk, Virginia court Monday.
The arrest happened in June. Vick allegedly drove away from police after they asked for his license, a move that typically does not pay off. The former Virginia Tech quarterback is unlikely to rejoin the NFL at any point.

Marcus Vick pleaded guilty Monday to two traffic charges.
Vick was convicted of speeding and driving without a valid driver’s license. This is minor, but Vick’s firearm case is still pending and far more serious.

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports that Marcus Vick is expected to be a second day Draft pick.
It’s awfully early for this type of talk. There is also some buzz that the Falcons could draft Marcus to groom him as a long-term backup to Michael in Atlanta.

Marcus Vick was arrested Monday and charged with three counts of brandishing a firearm, according to a Suffolk Virginia police department.
When will this end? Vick reportedly pointed a weapon at a teenage male and two others in a McDonald’s parking lot. The timing, only two days after Virginia Tech kicked him off the team, not only validates Tech’s decision, but seriously jeopardizes Vick’s stock in the NFL Draft.

Falcons’ quarterback Michael Vick blamed his little brother’s January arrest on somebody “trying to get some money.”
Marcus was arrested and charged with three counts of brandishing a firearm in early January. Hopefully, Michael guides his brother in the NFL and avoids making excuses for him.
