Sanders (6'1/195) nearly matched his reception total for the entire season Saturday, as he entered the game with eight receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown. It goes without saying that this was the redshirt junior’s best showing of 2020, and with nine targets he was one of only two Yellow Jackets with at least five (Malachi Carter had five but finished without a catch). Sanders will look to build on this outing Thursday night when the Yellow Jackets finish their regular season against Pitt.

With Georgia Tech trailing 13-7, freshman QB Jeff Sims found Carter (6'3/200) for a 13-yard score that tied the game, with the game staying tied after the Yellow Jackets missed the PAT. The wideout led GT with receptions and catches, and appeared to have a good rapport with Sims. We’ll see if he gets as many targets next week when they square off against UCF.
