The deal reportedly makes Rhodes the highest-paid snapper of snaps longer than the traditional snap in NFL history. It’s the second time Rhodes has reset the long snapper market. Rhodes has been the team’s long snapper since 2017 and is their second-longest tenured player on the current roster.

The deal includes $1.25 million guaranteed and makes Rhodes the highest-paid snapper of longer than traditional snaps in the NFL. He has been the snapper of such snaps in Indianapolis since 2017.

Rhodes was an exclusive rights free agent, so if he wanted to snap snaps longer than normal snaps in the NFL, his only option was to continue snapping such snaps for the Colts. Rhodes won the honor of snapping longer than normal snaps during training camp last year.
