    Raiders coach Lane Kiffin says Michael Bush won’t be playing fullback after all.
    “Michael Bush isn’t here to be a fullback. Michael Bush has a chance to be a spectacular tailback in this league and that’s what he’s here to play,” said Kiffin. Luke Lawton was claimed off waivers to play fullback.

    The Raiders are keeping three reserve wideuts: Johnnie Lee Higgins, Todd Watkins, and Chaz Schilens. That’s an ugly group for JaMarcus Russell to throw to, meaning Javon Walker, Ronald Curry, and Zach Miller should see most of the targets.

    Lawton will miss the final two games of this season as well as the first two games of next season. Converted tailback Gary Russell will likely handle lead-blocking duties this week. Marcel Reece could be activated from the practice squad as well.
