    Falcons released TE Leroy Banks.
Banks was an undersized undrafted free agent out of Southern Mississippi. He posted 29 catches for 375 yards and 3 TDs for the Golden Eagles while earning a second-team All-Conference selection in 2009.
  • KC Tight End
Chiefs claimed TE Leroy Banks off waivers from the Falcons.
Banks goes just 6'3/230, so he may get a look as an H-back or even wideout on the OTA practice field. He’s a candidate only for the practice squad.
  • KC Tight End
    Chiefs re-signed TE Leroy Banks.
Banks was with the club briefly earlier in the offseason. An undrafted free agent out of Southern Miss, he’ll serve as a practice body in training camp.
  • KC Tight End
Chiefs waived TE Leroy Banks, WR Rich Gunnell, OG Lemuel Jeanpierre, OG Dan Santucci, and OLB John Russell.
Gunnell flashed in the preseason, so he may get a look for the practice squad as an undrafted rookie. The rest of these players were roster fodder.
  • KC Tight End
The Saints worked out free agent TEs Leroy Banks, DajLeon Farr and Dustin Mitchell this week.
They’re just doing their due diligence with Jeremy Shockey banged up. Shockey is expected to be fine for Week 10 despite a rib injury.
  • LAR Quarterback
Chiefs waived QB Matt Gutierrez, DB Andre Jones, OT Nick Landry, OT Jermail Porter, and TE Leroy Banks.
Gutierrez has the biggest name here, but it’s a bad sign for him that the Chiefs opted to keep Tyler Palko as a potential third-string arm instead. Porter, Landry, Jones, and Banks were all low-profile undrafted free agents.
