Landon Dickerson will undergo surgery on his left knee in the offseason.
Dickerson injured his left knee during the NFC Championship, and the issue is serious enough that he’ll need to undergo an operation. He was not forthcoming on further details. The 26-year-old will hope to be back for workouts, but that obviously will depend on the severity of the injury and how his rehab goes. It’d be a big loss for Philadelphia, as Dickerson is as good as any guard in the sport right now.

Eagles C Cam Jurgens (back) practiced in full on Wednesday.
This is excellent news for all involved. Jurgens and Dickerson (knee) sat out all three practices last week. It would have been unsurprising to see them get eased into action this week. Their swift return suggests last week’s rehab plan was successful. The Chiefs’ defense must now contend with the Eagles’ elite offensive line operating at or near full strength.

Eagles C Cam Jurgens (back) did not practice on Friday.
This marks three straight absences for Jurgens and Dickerson (knee). Both players are expected to resume practicing at some point next week, as the Eagles prepare to face the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.

Eagles C Cam Jurgens (back) was not seen practicing on Thursday.
Jurgens and Dickerson (knee) were absent Wednesday as well. The two OL stars are clearly hurt but will benefit from the two-week run-up to Super Bowl LIX. It would be great to see one or both of them return for tomorrow’s practice but it would be unsurprising to see the Eagles hold them out again.

Eagles C Cam Jurgens (back) did not practice on Wednesday.
Jurgens gets an extended break to rehab his nagging back issue, as does Dickerson, who is listed with a knee injury. Dickerson notably suffered a knee injury in Week 15 against the Steelers but avoided missing time, aside from Week 18, which many Eagles starters took off. Both players can be safely expected to play in Super Bowl LIX against the Chiefs.

Eagles OG Landon Dickerson exited Week 15 against the Steelers with a knee injury.
The severity of Dickerson’s injury has not yet been revealed but any missed time would be a big loss. He will likely be replaced by OG Tyler Steen, who “lost the right guard job over the summer to Mekhi Becton,” per the Philly’s Voice’s Jimmy Kempski.

Eagles signed OG Landon Dickerson to a four-year, $84 million contract extension.
Dickerson at $21 million per year, is now the highest-paid guard in NFL history, and is under contract through 2027. The former second-round pick has made two Pro Bowls in his first three seasons while starting 46 of the 47 games he’s appeared in. Amongst guards with at least 1,000 snaps last season, Dickerson graded as the 11th best guard in the league, earning a PFF blocking grade of 70.0. He started 15 games for the Eagles at left guard in 2023 and also drew a start at center in the Week 18 finale.

Eagles LG Landon Dickerson (elbow) was removed from the injury report and will play in Super Bowl LVII against the Chiefs.
Dickerson injured his right elbow in the NFC Championship game. He was forced to leave in the fourth quarter and did not return, though the game was already decided by that point. He got in a pair of full practices in the Eagles’ final week of Super Bowl prep and is ready to go.

The Philadelphia Enquirer’s Jeff McLane reports Eagles LG Landon Dickerson (elbow) is expected to play in Super Bowl LVII.
Dickerson hyperextended his elbow in the fourth quarter against the 49ers, but is expected to be ready for the game. The extra week off should help both Dickerson and Lane Johnson (core) heal up a bit ahead of playing the Chiefs.

Eagles signed second-round OL Landon Dickerson to a four-year contract.
Dickerson (6’6/326) most recently won the Rimington Trophy (nation’s best center) while being named a first-team All-American in 2020, but his December ACL tear in the SEC title game was his fourth season-ending injury in five collegiate seasons. In 871 pass-blocking snaps over the last three seasons, he allowed only one sack and eight hurries. Dickerson is an animal in the run-game, a phone booth goliath that gets lower than you expect, with legs churn through the echo of the whistle. An exciting interior prospect for gap/power teams with legitimate three-position starting versatility, Dickerson’s biggest question marks are his medicals and a lack of elite athleticism. He remains “on schedule” in his rehab and has been cleared to resume workouts. The Eagles are hoping to have him for Week 1.
