Titans placed CB Kristian Fulton on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
Fulton told reporters that the news came as a surprise to him, and it will likely end his playing career in Tennessee with his contract up at the end of the season. Fulton started 11 of the 12 games he played in 2023, totaling 46 tackles, five passes defended, and two tackles for a loss. Without Fulton, the Titans will continue to use second-year player Tre Avery at cornerback alongside Sean Murphy-Bunting and Roger McCreary. The team also put defensive tackle Kyle Peko on the injured reserve and signed defensive linemen Quinton Bohanna and Keondre Coburn off the practice squads of the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs, respectively.
  • DET Defensive Tackle #96
    Broncos released NT Kyle Peko.
An undrafted free agent from Oregon State, Peko joined the Broncos in 2016 but didn’t play a snap in 2018 or 2020. He’s played 126 defensive snaps since coming into the NFL.

  • DET Defensive Tackle #96
Broncos NT Kyle Peko has opted out of the 2020 season.
Mostly with the Broncos since 2016, Peko also had a 2019 cup of coffee with the Bills. Peko can now collect a $150,000 stipend while his $825,000 contract tolls to 2020. The opt outs make more sense for end-of-roster players without guaranteed money, but it is still far from a golden ticket because of the effect it will have on their careers. A year without film is a bad year for a reserve. It goes without saying that their health comes first, of course.

  • DET Defensive Tackle #96
Broncos NT Kyle Peko suffered a broken right foot in Tuesday’s minicamp session.
He’s undergoing surgery Wednesday. Per NBC Denver, Peko is expected to return “early” in camp. He’s competing for a backup nose tackle job. A 2016 UDFA, Peko played 14 snaps as a rookie.
  • DET Defensive Tackle #96
    Broncos re-signed NT Kyle Peko.
Peko was waived last week, but is back now that he’s healthy. He replaces Tyrique Jarrett on the active roster.
  • DET Defensive Tackle #96
    Broncos re-signed NT Kyle Peko.
Peko’s Saturday release was a procedural move. The 2016 UDFA made one rookie appearance.
