Raiders LT Kolton Miller (ankle) reverted to injured reserve.
Miller’s 21-day practice window expired. His season is over. It is yet another unfortunate development in the Raiders’ lost 2025 season. Miller has been sidelined since suffering a high-ankle sprain and a hairline fracture in Week 4 against the Bears. His 89.8 PFF pass-blocking grade ranks second among offensive tackles with at least 250 blocking snaps. He turns 31 in September 2026. Hopefully, he can return to form next season.

Raiders LT Kolton Miller (ankle) resumed practicing on Wednesday.
The Raiders placed their talented left tackle on injured reserve on September 30th after he suffered a high-ankle sprain and a hairline fracture in Week 4 against the Bears. The season is already lost, but Miller’s potential return would help the offense as a whole, for fantasy purposes. Raiders backup QB Kenny Pickett is expected to start in QB Geno Smith’s (shoulder) stead against the Eagles this week. Raiders EDGE Maxx Crosby took the day off as he continues to manage a knee issue.

Raiders LT Kolton Miller (ankle) will be placed on injured reserve.
It’s not just a high-ankle sprain, but additionally a hairline fracture per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. It sounds like this will knock Miller out for most, if not all of the season. Miller played through the injury in Week 4, but posted a disastrous 43.2 PFF grade while doing so. Third-round pick Charles Grant and veteran Stone Forsythe are the current depth options in the Raiders tackle room.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Raiders believe OT Kolton Miller suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 4’s loss to the Bears.
Miller will undergo an MRI to confirm, but Rapoport reports Miller could be looking at a “multi-week injury.” It’s brutal news for an offensive line that has performed like one of the worst in the league through the first four weeks of the season, and obviously affects both Geno Smith and Ashton Jeanty as far as fantasy is concerned. Miller could be a candidate for injured reserve if the MRI suggests the injury is severe enough to warrant a four-game absence or longer. Charles Grant, whom the Raiders drafted in the third round of this year’s draft, is listed behind Miller on the depth chart and would be in line to start in Miller’s absence.

Raiders signed LT Kolton Miller to a three-year, $66 million contract extension.
Miller was set to enter the final year of his contract in 2025 and did not participate in voluntary offseason workouts while seeking an extension. The Raiders got a deal done with their left tackle at the beginning of training camp, giving Miller $42.5 million guaranteed. He started all 17 games for the Raiders last season and achieved an 80.6 PFF Grade, No. 14 among offensive tackles. Miller now gets a deal that is not market-setting, but pays him like a top-15 tackle.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports Raiders LT Kolton Miller is not participating in the voluntary offseason program and is seeking an extension.
Miller was the Raiders’ first-round pick in 2018 and has started 107 games over seven seasons for the team. He is set to enter the final year of his current contract in 2025, making $12.25 million. Though he is not technically holding out yet since the offseason program is voluntary, Fowler notes Miller is seeking an extension. He finished last season with an 80.6 PFF grade, No. 14 among offensive tackles. Miller has been the Raiders’ franchise left tackle for seven years now and both sides will certainly discuss an extension as training camp nears.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports Raiders LT Kolton Miller (shoulder) is expected to be active for Week 16 against the Chiefs.
Per Fowlers, Miller may only be active as an emergency tackle. He has missed three games because of the shoulder issue and “might need another week for full healing.” Thayer Munford will take his spot in the lineup once again.

Raiders LT Kolton Miller (shoulder) did not participate in Tuesday’s walk-through.
Miller continues to deal with a shoulder injury, missing Week 14 against the Vikings. He seemed to suffer a setback when he initially returned in Week 12 and was unable to practice last week. On a short Week 15 leading up to a Thursday game against the Chargers, Miller is likely to be out again.
