Lions CB Khalil Dorsey suffered a fractured leg in Week 15’s loss to the Bills and is out for the season.
In one game, the Lions lost three defensive players for the season, as cornerback Carlton Davis (jaw) and defensive lineman Alim McNeill (knee) are also done for the year. Dorsey suffered a nasty-looking injury when he collided with a teammate and had to be carted off the field after being placed in an air cast. Dorsey contributed primarily on special teams for the Lions this season and has played on less than 100 defensive snaps.

Khalil Dorsey was carted off the field with an ankle injury in Week 15 and will not return.
Dorsey ran into his own teammate while covering a crossing route in the second quarter and his ankle bent in gruesome fashion. The cart came out for him immediately and he had an air cast on as he was taken to the locker room. With fellow cornerback Carlton Davis also suffering an injury in Week 15, the Lions’ poor run of injury luck continues.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports the Lions are not picking up CB Khalil Dorsey’s exclusive rights tender.
Dorsey played in 13 games in 2022, totaling 11 tackles and a pass deflection. He also returned kicks, finishing with 244 kick return yards. The 25-year-old Dorsey started his career as an undrafted free agent from Northern Arizona. After joining the Ravens in 2020, he bounced to the Giants in the 2022 offseason, then joined the Lions. Dorsey is set to hit free agency after the Lions did not pick up his exclusive rights tender.
  • Defensive Tackle #66
Ravens activated DT Brandon Williams from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
QB Trace McSorley, CB Tavon Young and DB Khalil Dorsey have also been activated. Also dealing with an ankle issue, run-stopper Williams has not practiced since Nov. 15. If he’s active, he probably won’t see too many Week 12 snaps on Wednesday against the Steelers. Williams was averaging 35-40 before going down.

  • LV Guard #76
Ravens added six more players to the reserve/COVID-19 list, including starting RT D.J. Fluker
The others include OLB Jaylon Ferguson, OL Will Holden, DT Broderick Washington, CB Tavon Young and CB Khalil Dorsey. That means the Ravens have placed 18 names on the list since Monday, November 23. As of now the Ravens are scheduled to play the Steelers on Tuesday, but seemingly every day more names are added to the list, including on the Steelers’ side.
