NFL suspended Commanders CB Kevon Seymour six games for violating the NFL’s Performance-Enhancing Substances Policy.
He’ll be eligible for reinstatement ahead of Washington’s Week 13 game against the Titans. Seymour has not played a defensive snap this year and is mostly a special teamer, with 155 special teams snaps with the Ravens last year and 17 with the Commanders in 2024.
  • BAL Safety #32
Ravens S Marcus Williams (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.
Williams went down with the hamstring issue in Week 6. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Williams is “iffy” for Week 7. It sounds like he will miss at least a week because of the hamstring issue. Defensive end Brent Urban and cornerback Kevon Seymour also missed practice on Wednesday.
  • BAL Defensive End #97
Ravens EDGE Brent Urban (neck) will not return in Week 6 against the Titans.
Urban went down in the first half and emerged from locker room after halftime in street clothes. He entered the week with one tackle and two TFLs. Cornerback Kevon Seymour is questionable to return with an ankle injury.
  • BAL Quarterback #17
    Ravens signed QB Josh Johnson.
Johnson was let go on roster cutdown day but is now back as the team’s QB3 — for now. Johnson threw for 285 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception in the preseason and is expected to serve as the emergency backup to Tyler Huntley. In addition to Johnson, the Ravens also signed DE Brent Urban, and DB Kevon Seymour.
  • WAS Cornerback #38
    Ravens signed CB Kevon Seymour.
Seymour spent the first three weeks on the Ravens’ practice squad. The 28-year-old appeared in nine games with the Ravens last year, posting 25 tackles and one sack. Seymour should see most of his snaps on special teams if active.

  • WAS Cornerback #38
Ravens re-signed CB Kevon Seymour to a one-year contract.
Seymour was scheduled to be a restricted free agent, so he was likely to have drawn a tender. This deal just streamlines that process. Seymour started two games for Baltimore’s injury-ravaged secondary in 2021, but he should be competing for a backup role in training camp.

  • Running Back #28
    Eagles released RB Jordan Howard.
The Eagles now have just three running backs on their roster: Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, and Kenny Gainwell. The Eagles also waived/released DB Andrew Adams, OT Le’Raven Clark, DL Hassan Ridgeway, TE Richard Rodgers, DB Kevon Seymour, DB Grayland Arnold, OG Kayode Awosika, WR Travis Fulgham, WR John Hightower, RB Jason Huntley, DB Craig James, DL Matt Leo, OG Iosua Opeta, WR Andre Patton, C Ross Pierschbacher, DB Elijah Riley, S JaCoby Stevens, and DL Raequan Williams.

  • WAS Cornerback #38
Panthers placed CB Kevon Seymour (shoulder) on injured reserve.
Seymour was at one point viewed as the favorite to start across from James Bradberry, but he struggled in the preseason before suffering the shoulder injury. The Panthers may now turn to rookie Donte Jackson with Captain Munnerlyn covering the slot.
  • WAS Cornerback #38
Coach Rex Ryan praised sixth-round CB Kevon Seymour for his work at OTAs and rookie minicamp.
“I am not going to put him in that (Bills CB Ronald Darby) class yet, but we are close,” Ryan said. “And so we bumped him up to the first team (Tuesday), and he has done a great job. This kid looks like the real deal and we will see. He certainly looks the part right now.” Seymour has been running with the starters opposite Darby at OTAs while contract-year CB Stephon Gilmore skips workouts. Seymour seems to be the early favorite for nickel work.
  • WAS Cornerback #38
Bills signed sixth-round CB Kevon Seymour to a four-year contract.
Seymour has good length at 6'/186, but was benched as a senior at USC and is more of a project for the Bills. He impressed with a 4.39 forty and 35-inch vertical.
