Kevin Austin caught 3-of-3 targets for 31 yards in the Saints’ Week 13 loss to the Rams, adding one carry for nine yards.
Austin made a sudden appearance as the Saints’ No. 2 wide receiver behind Marquez Valdes-Scantling. The former UFL champion has been thrust into the spotlight with the Saints dealing with injuries to Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed, and now Taysom Hill. He should not be on fantasy radars just yet, but is worth keeping an eye on for late-season FLEX plays.

Jaguars signed Notre Dame WR Kevin Austin.
A four-star recruit out of Florida, a suspension in 2019 and a foot injury in 2020 stunted Austin’s (6'2, 200) early production, but he emerged with a 48-888-7 line for the Fighting Irish last season. Austin dominated the Combine, running a 4.43 40, jumping 39 inches in the vertical and 11 feet even in the broad, and posting well-above-average times in the agility drills given his size. He is a developmental prospect with off-field and injury red flags, but he improved throughout 2021 and has impressive athletic traits, making Austin a prototype risk-reward Dynasty selection in the mold of Donovan Peoples-Jones.
