Titans declared DL Keondre Coburn, TE Thomas Odukoya, TE David Martin-Robinson, OT Jaelyn Duncan, LB James Williams, and OLB Caleb Murphy inactive for their Week 6 game against the Colts.
Coburn is dealing with what’s been described as a multi-week injury suffered before the bye against the Dolphins on Monday night. Every other player here is a healthy scratch.

    Broncos released WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey.
Defensive tackle Keondre Coburn was claimed off waivers from the Chiefs in a corresponding move. This is the second time Humphrey has been released by the Broncos in just over a week. He was immediately signed to the practice squad and then elevated to the game-day roster after being cut last week. It wouldn’t be surprising for him to have a similar journey this time around.

Chiefs selected Texas DT Keondre Coburn with the No. 194 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Coburn (6’2/336) is one of the heaviest prospects in this draft class, but carries it well in a very wide frame. This helps him as a solid run stuffer, as Texas often asked him to take on multiple blockers in the run game. All that mass with stubby arms and thick legs make Coburn an immovable force, in both directions. His athletic testing showed an average player by almost every metric except weight. He won’t offer too much in the pass rush department as his lateral movement mostly stems from blockers redirecting his forward momentum. Additionally, he doesn’t really have an idea on how to deconstruct blocks to shed and chase. On plays to the outside, he is actually usually in position to take away cut-back lanes, but that is often because he isn’t fast enough to overrun the play. All told, Coburn will develop into a two-gapping run stuffer at the next level. This play was noticeable against Alabama, when all their big run plays were when Coburn was on the sideline. He can be considered a budget Brandon Williams.

247Sports’ Chip Brown was told by one source in the Texas program that redshirt freshman DT Keondre Coburn “has what they play with in the NFL [in terms of explosiveness].”
“He has a chance to play on the other side of the line of scrimmage,” Brown’s insider said. “And when you can get that from your one technique, your defense has a chance to be really disruptive.” This is a refrain which Brown has heard from multiple sources in Austin. The 6-foot-3, 334-pound defensive tackle dealt with a kidney issue over the spring, but assuming his health for the fall, he is a probable starter for the Longhorns upcoming. This past season, Coburn appeared in three games (ultimately taking a redshirt) after signing on with Texas as a four-star recruit in the 2018 class.

Texas HC Tom Herman told reporters on Monday that redshirt freshman DT Keondre Coburn (kidney) has normal blood levels.
Great to hear. Coburn has not been practicing because of a kidney issue. The Longhorns are likely going to be very careful with the 6-foot-3, 334-pound defensive tackle, but it’s possible that he’ll be able to return to practice shortly. No guarantees there, but it’s good to hear things are improving, at least.

Texas redshirt freshman DT Keondre Coburn has not been practicing due to a kidney issue.
Longhorns HC Tom Herman said on Monday that Coburn was awaiting test results on the health concern. Herman told the media that this was the second time in the last seven months that the 6-foot-3, 334-pounder had experienced an internal issue relating to his kidneys. Coburn redshirted while appearing in three games last season after hitting Austin as a four-star recruit in the 2018 class. He has several weeks to get right before the close of spring practice, but Herman referred to Coburn’s repeat travails as a “pretty big red flag,” so we imagine that the team is going to be taking a cautious approach, here.

Texas received a verbal commitment from four-star 2018 DT Keondre Coburn in August.
Coburn (6'3/334) has not budged off his pledge since August, but he hasn’t completely shut down his recruitment. To whit, he took an official visit to TCU earlier in December. 247Sports’ Greg Powers is a believer in his upside, noting that the Houston native is “powerful at the point of attack, plays with good pad level, and is explosive with his first step.” The outlet’s composite board sees him home at No. 116 overall for the 2018 class.

ESPN’s Tom VanHaaren writes that four-star 2018 DT Keondre Coburn could potentially flip his commitment from Texas to Miami.
Coburn committed to the Longhorns in August, but did not sign with Texas during the early signing period. He recently took a visit to Miami, and has yet to say whether or not he remains committed to Texas after the trip. The 6-foot-3, 334-pound lineman could be a big get -- literally and figuratively -- for Mark Richt if he’s able to flip his commitment.
