Pro Football Focus notes that Fresno State senior S Juju Hughes is a “pure playmaker.”
Hughes was outstanding for the Bulldogs last year, making 78 tackles and interception four passes for one of the best defenses in college football. Those are impressive numbers, but his analytical figures are even more impressive. He allowed just a 40.1 rating in coverage while earning an impressive 87.1 grade from PFF, and he also made 16 defensive stops. Fresno State isn’t likely to be as good as last year, but it has one of the best safeties in college football in the form of Juju Hughes.
