  • PHI Tackle #68
Eagles signed LT Jordan Mailata to a three-year, $66 million contract extension.
Mailata, a former seventh round pick, is no under contract with the Eagles through 2028. His extension includes $48 million in guaranteed money. Mailata started all 17 games for the Eagles last season and earned a PFF pass blocking grade of 84.1 while allowing just three sacks on 45 pressures. Interestingly, he has never earned a Pro Bowl recognition or an All-Pro nomination, despite being regarded as one of the top tackles in the league.
  • PHI Tackle #68
Eagles LT Jordan Mailata is off Philadelphia’s Week 6 injury report.
One of the most dominant tackles in the game, Mailata missed last week but will return for a Week 6 clash against the Cowboys. Philadelphia’s essentially at full strength for the matchup.

  • PHI Tackle #68
Eagles LT Jordan Mailata (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Mailata suffered the shoulder injury in Week 4, departing after just seven snaps. He was unable to suit up last week. The early limited session is a good sign that he has a shot at returning to action this week. In a divisional game with the Cowboys, extra help in the trenches will be important for the Eagles.

  • PHI Tackle #68
Eagles LT Jordan Mailata (shoulder) is doubtful for Week 5 against the Cardinals.
Luckily for the Eagles, Arizona ranks dead last in sacks this year. They have gotten to the opposing quarterback just four times. Swing tackle Jack Driscoll appears to be in line to start this week. He took over for Mailata after the latter went down with the shoulder issue in Week 4.

  • PHI Tackle #68
Eagles LT Jordan Mailata (shoulder) did not practice Wednesday.
Mailata went down with the injury in Week 4 and was unable to return versus the Jags. Swing tackle Jack Driscoll took over for Mailata last week. Andre Dillard was also designated to return from injured reserve, giving Philly another option if Dillard is fully healed from his fractured forearm. Going from Mailata to either backup tackle would be a notable downgrade for an offense that has been winning the war in the trenches this year.

  • PHI Tackle #68
Eagles LT Jordan Mailata was forced from Philadelphia’s Week 4 game against the Jaguars with a shoulder injury and is questionable to return.
Injured on the game’s opening drive, Mailata had yet to return as the first quarter expired. Mailata “did not appear to be moving” his right shoulder as he headed to the locker room. Mailata’s loss would be massive for an offense so reliant on its road-paving offensive line. Jack Driscoll is in the game for now.

  • PHI Tackle #65
Eagles RT Lane Johnson (personal matter) is out for Week 5 against the Panthers.
Johnson is healthy but remains out this week with a personal matter. The Eagles face a difficult matchup this week against the Panthers. The Cowboys were able to expose Carolina’s defense a bit in Week 4, but the Eagles could have trouble without their starting right tackle. LT Jordan Mailata, who missed Week 4 with a knee injury, will play in Week 5.

  • PHI Tackle #68
Eagles declared T Jordan Mailata (knee) out for Week 4 vs. Chiefs.
Mailata missed Week 3 in a game where Jalen Hurts struggled badly. He will be missed again this week as the Eagles try and keep pace with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. Andre Dillard is expected to start this week at LT. Dillard is PFF’s ninth graded tackle this season, and has filled in admirably for the fifth ranked Mailata.

  • PHI Tackle #68
Eagles LT Jordan Mailata (knee) is not practicing Wednesday.
Landon Dickerson, who started at right guard in Week 3, and starting center Jason Kelce were limited in practice. An early limited practice usually bodes well for a player’s odds of suiting up but Philadelphia’s Wednesday practice was a walkthrough. This means that all of their injury statuses are only estimates. Mailata was unavailable for the Eagles’ Week 3 matchup with the Cowboys. If he is out again, Andre Dillard should get the start at left tackle.

  • PHI Tackle #68
Eagles LT Jordan Mailata (knee) is out for Week 3 against the Cowboys.
Mailata’s absence may be limited to Week 3, but it comes at a tough time for the Eagles as they attempt to keep up with Dak Prescott and company on Monday night. Rookie Landon Dickerson will also be starting at RG in place of starter Brandon Brooks. Andre Dillard will get the start at left tackle.
