Jordan Love completed 21-of-34 passes for 194 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in the Packers’ 24-21 Divisional Round loss to the 49ers.
Love made several impressive throws on the night, tossing touchdowns from two and 19 yards out, as the Packers held the lead for much of the second half. Unfortunately, a late drive by the 49ers to put them up by a field goal could not be countered by Love, who threw his second interception on the night to Dre Greenlaw to seal the game. The Packers are heading home but have a lot to build on. Several question marks about Love’s game were discussed through training camp and through the regular season, but the fourth-year signal-caller threw for 4,159-32-11 in his first season as Green Bay’s starter and had them within a few plays of an NFC Championship game. Despite a disappointing outcome for the Packers in this one, their future is bright as long as Love is under center.
