Starting tackles Jonas Jennings (shoulder) and Mike Williams (knee) are questionable for week 14.
As far as we know, they should play. But if both were to miss Sunday’s game, we’d downgrade the Bills offensive players.
  • The Jets are expected to sign Bills tackle Jonas Jennings, the top left tackle on the market.
A surprising move, but a big one for New York. They will likely move Jason Fabini to the right side and let Kareem McKenzie walk via free agency. On paper, it would improve an already-strong O-line, helping CMart and Chad Pennington out.
  • 49ers left tackle Jonas Jennings will miss at least a week of practice after undergoing surgery on his finger.
Three starting O-linemen on the 49ers are currently sidelined by serious injuries. It’s early, but it’s hard not to think about their disastrous ’04 season again.
  • SF Tackle
49ers signed OT Barry Sims to a two-year contract.
They offered more money than the Ravens, Patriots, or Rams. Sims, 33, started 16 games at left tackle for Oakland in ’07 and had a ton of false starts, but it’s a good sign that respectable GMs (Ozzie Newsome and Scott Pioli) were interested. Sims is expected to battle RT Jonas Jennings to start.
  • T Jonas Jennings returned to practice Tuesday.
Jennings missed nearly all of 2005 with a torn labrum. He worked with guard Larry Allen for the first time, what appears a formidable left side of the Niners offensive line.
  • 49ers LT Jonas Jennings has been listed as doubtful for Week 2.
Jennings sprained his ankle in the team’s Week 1 loss but claims he’ll suit up and play against St. Louis. He’s obviously a key part of the line.
  • Bills starting left tackle Jonas Jennings will be ready to play in week five.
He took a nasty helmet-to-helmet hit on Sunday, but will be back in the starting lineup this weekend for Buffalo.
  • Bills starting left tackle Jonas Jennings left today’s game after a helmet-to-helmet hit.
He did not return. The Bills offense could be in huge trouble moving forward if they lose two starters off the offensive line.
  • Left tackle Jonas Jennings and center Trey Teague should return to action for Buffalo on Sunday.
Their return should help the entire Bills offensive unit.
  • Left tackle Jonas Jennings expects to return to the Bills lineup in week eight.
It looks like Trey Teague, however, will miss another game. The Cards should be able to hold the Bills down.
