Foschi

Foschi suffered a slight medial collateral ligament tear against the Chiefs. He did not play against the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday.

Foschi is an Al Davis favorite, but is probably only a summer practice body. The H-back type hasn’t caught a regular season pass in four seasons.

J.P. was never truly under consideration for a spot on the final 53.

Players cut by Oakland aren’t usually great bets to make other teams’ rosters. Foschi, an H-back type, adds depth behind Dan Coats and Chase Coffman.

Coats’ drops and fumbles have caught up with him. Foschi isn’t much of a receiver and will have about as much fantasy value as Coats did. Rookie Chase Coffman is still not blocking well enough or contributing on special teams to be active on Sundays.
