Jerramy Stevens, listed as probable with a sore knee, returned to Seahawks practice Thursday.
Seattle’s starting tight end only has one catch through two games. We’d stay patient, but fantasy leaguers can pull the plug on Stevens’ roster spot if he struggles again in week three.
  • TB Tight End
Jerramy Stevens is the Seahawks starting tight end.
Stevens has stood out all summer and now his trip to the top of the depth chart is complete. He’s an intriguing late fantasy pick for deep leagues now in Seattle’s offense - a top 20 tight end. Itula Mili is no longer draftable.
  • TB Tight End
Jerramy Stevens may finally be putting some separation between himself and last year’s starter Itula Mili.
Mili was a productive fantasy player last season, setting the Seahawks’ record for career receptions by a tight end. If Stevens wrests the starting job from him, he could be a weapon for Matt Hasselbeck. He’s probably not worth a draft pick, but is a sleeper as a free agent pickup.
  • TB Tight End
Jerramy Stevens lost the starting tight end job in Seattle.
Unless he takes it back, Stevens isn’t worth owning in fantasy leagues.
  • TB Tight End
Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens has impressed Seahawks coaches during minicamp.
Stevens, a 2002 first-round pick, is getting a longer look by the team because starting tight end Itula Mili is a no-show at camp. If Stevens can avoid injuries, he could steal playing time from Mili this season.
  • TB Tight End
Jerramy Stevens is splitting time with the Seahawks first team at tight end.
The troubled former #1 pick impressed coaches all summer with his improved attitude and work ethic. He has the talent to supplant Itula Mili for a starting role, but is too risky a fantasy pick right now.
  • TB Tight End
Jerramy Stevens is having another standout training camp.
Have we heard this before? Stevens is making diving catches everywhere and has a solid hold on the starting job in Seattle. We simply can’t take the plunge again until he proves it during the regular season, though.
  • TB Tight End
Jerramy Stevens (knee) is ahead of schedule in his rehab from knee surgery and could return to practice next week.
That should give him plenty of time to get ready of Week 1. Keep an eye on Stevens to see if he has a setback, but he’s worth a roster spot as an end-game fantasy tight end if healthy.
  • TB Tight End
Jerramy Stevens is expected to return to practice on Wednesday.
Stevens’ rehab from knee surgery progressed ahead of schedule as training camp began. He appears likely to be ready for Week 1 and should be a solid TE2, but not a fantasy starter.
  • TB Tight End
The Associated Press reports Jerramy Stevens isn’t likely to be ready for football until the third week of August.
That would appear to put Stevens’ readiness for Week 1 in question. Considering his inconsistent career, we wouldn’t reach to draft Stevens in a 12-team league if he’s not 100%.
