  • NYG Guard #70
Giants signed OG Greg Van Roten, formerly of the Raiders.
Per ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, Jermaine Eluemunor is going to play right tackle with Van Roten at right guard. That means Evan Neal is the odd man out. The former top-10 pick is currently on the PUP list and doesn’t appear to have a role in the New York offense. Van Roten started all 17 games for the Raiders last year and is a solid addition for a team that fielded one of the league’s worst offensive lines in 2023.
  • NYG Guard #72
Giants agreed to terms with OL Jermaine Eluemunor, formerly of the Raiders, on a two-year, $14 million contract.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport was first on the scoop. Eluemunor started 31 games for the Raiders over the past two years. The bulk of his work has come at right tackle, though he did see three starts at left tackle and one at right guard over that span. Eluemunor has additional experience at both positions from previous seasons. The move gives New York a versatile lineman who can fill any one of their many holes across the offensive line.
  • LAC Tackle #65
The Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Vincent Bonsignore reports “all options are on the table” for second-year RT Alex Leatherwood, including trading or cutting him.
It would be quite the admission of defeat for the Raiders, dumping last year’s No. 17 overall pick, but the new Dave Ziegler-Josh McDaniels regime has no attachment to Leatherwood. There’s a chance he could also be moved inside to guard, but it’s clear this staff doesn’t view Leatherwood as a starter. A powerful run blocker, Leatherwood is horrid in pass protection. He’d probably be a better fit in a power run scheme. Veteran G/T Jermaine Eluemunor is viewed as the current favorite for right-tackle duties after following McDaniels over from New England.

  • NYG Guard #72
    Raiders re-signed OG Jermaine Eluemunor.
The 27-year-old appeared in a career-high 14 games for the Raiders last season, opening the year as the starting right guard Weeks 1-4. He could again compete for a starting role under new coach Josh McDaniels, whom Eluemunor played for in New England from 2019-20.

  • NYG Guard #72
Dolphins signed G Jermaine Eluemunor, formerly of the Patriots.
Tendered to a one-year, $2.133 million contract at the original-round level last year, Eluemunor played a career-high 419 (41%) offensive snaps across eight starts among New England’s battered trenches. He’ll play both off the bench and on special teams in his age-27 season with Miami.

  • NYG Guard #72
Patriots re-signed OG Jermaine Eluemunor to a one-year, $2.133 million contract.
Eluemunor was a restricted free agent tendered at the original-round level. Acquired from the Ravens late last summer, Eluemunor went on to make 10 appearances for Bill Belichick. 2020 will be his age-26 campaign.

  • FA Tackle #61
Patriots RT Marcus Cannon left Sunday’s Week 1 game against the Steelers with a left shoulder injury.
He left Gillette Stadium in a sling after going down in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s blowout victory. Joe Thuney shifted to right tackle in his absence with Jermaine Eluemunor spelling Thuney at left guard. Cannon allowed just two sacks all of last season while garnering PFF’s No. 17 tackle grade out of 80 qualifiers. He’d be a big loss for the Pats.
  • NYG Guard #72
Patriots acquired OG Jermaine Eluemunor and a sixth-round pick from the Ravens for a fourth-round pick.
It’s the second offensive lineman the Patriots have traded for after getting OT Korey Cunningham from the Cardinals. Eluemunor got starter reps this offseason but faded due to injuries and uneven play. He’ll get a fresh start in New England, where he should back up at multiple spots.
  • NYG Guard #72
Ravens 2017 fifth-round pick Jermaine Eluemunor worked as the first-team left guard during minicamp.
Eluemunor has not gotten a ton of snaps thus far in his career and has not looked great when on the field, but the Ravens are desperate for answers at left guard. Coach John Harbaugh praised Eluemunor’s work during minicamp but said the lineman needs to get in better shape. Baltimore could also turn to Alex Lewis, who is still recovering from shoulder surgery, James Hurst, or fourth-round rookie Ben Powers at left guard.
  • NYG Guard #72
Ravens selected Texas A&M OG Jermaine Eluemunor with the No. 159 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
Eluemunor (6’4/332) started only one season for the Aggies, shuttling between right guard and right tackle as a fifth-year senior. He is originally from London and starred as a wrestler in high school. Eluemunor is extremely raw with limited football experience, but he possesses incredible upper-body strength and surprising athleticism for his meaty build. He ran 5.22 and did 34 bench-press reps at the Combine. Eluemunor likely needs a redshirt year before pushing for NFL snaps.
