Jaylen Warren rushed 12 times for 48 yards in the Steelers’ Week 16 loss to the Ravens, adding 44 yards on five receptions.
As is typically the case with the Steelers, Warren saw increased opportunities in a negative game script, finishing second on the team in receiving with 44 yards. He failed to find the end zone on three red zone opportunities, watching from the sideline as Cordarrelle Patterson caught a 12-yard fade for a touchdown in the third quarter. Warren could be called upon at a similar rate in Week 17 when the Steelers face off with the 14-1 Chiefs.

Jaylen Warren rushed four times for 12 yards in the Steelers’ Week 15 loss to the Eagles, adding one reception for three additional yards.
There’s not much to say here. As a team, the Steelers rushed 17 times for 56 scoreless yards and were quickly demoralized by a physical Eagles’ defense. Warren’s 12 rushing yards were just two less than the 14 Najee Harris had on the day, and his two targets were his fewest since Week 10’s game against the Commanders. Warren profiles as an RB3/FLEX play in next week’s game against the Ravens.
  • PIT Running Back #30
Jaylen Warren rushed nine times for 47 yards in the Steelers’ Week 14 win over the Browns, adding two receptions for 25 additional yards.
It was another efficient day for Warren, who averaged 6.5 yards per touch while ripping off four plays of 10-plus yards. Warren didn’t find the end zone in this one, but he continues to be a reliable RB3/Flex play for managers in half/full-PPR leagues. He’ll remain as such when the Steelers take on the Eagles in Week 15.

Jaylen Warren rushed three times for nine yards in a Week 13 win over the Bengals, adding 55 receiving yards on four catches.
What stands out most about the box score is that Warren only handled three carries in a game where Najee Harris had to leave the game for a drive and a half in the first quarter. When Harris was out, it was Cordarrelle Patterson who handled the majority of the carries, which puts a little bit of doubt into what Warren’s ultimate ceiling would be if Harris were to miss any time.

Jaylen Warren rushed 11 times for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Steelers’ Week 12 loss to the Browns, adding three receptions for 19 yards.
Warren out-rushed Najee Harris 45-41 despite handling five fewer carries. He’s now out-gained Harris two of the past three weeks despite taking smaller workloads all three times out. Finally over his early-season injury issues, Warren is again confirming he simply has more juice than his higher-volume backfield mate. Week 13 against the Bengals’ struggling defense should be a “FLEX Warren” kind of matchup.
  • PIT Running Back #30
Jaylen Warren ran nine times for 41 yards in the Steelers’ Week 11 win over the Ravens, adding four receptions for 27 additional yards.
Warren continues to out-produce Najee Harris on a per-touch basis but saw 13 opportunities to Harris’ 23 in Sunday’s win over the Ravens. From a fantasy perspective, Warren did exactly what his fantasy managers hoped for, but he can’t be viewed as anything more than an RB3 at this time. He has a short turnaround to prepare for Thursday night’s game against the Browns.

Jaylen Warren (back) is active for Week 11 against the Ravens.
After popping up on Thursday’s injury report as a DNP, Warren was able to log a limited session on Friday and will be ready to go for Sunday’s game against the Ravens. It’s hard to know what kind of usage we should expect from Warren, who is coming off a season-high 12 carries for 66 yards in last week’s win over the Commanders. Assuming he’s operating at close to full strength, Warren is a borderline RB3/RB4 vs. a stout rush defense. The Steelers did declare QB Kyle Allen, RB Jonathan Ward, LB Alex Highsmith, OL Max Scharping, and TE MyCole Pruitt inactive for Week 11.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Jaylen Warren (back) is expected to play in Week 11 against the Ravens.
Warren was added to the injury report on Thursday and got a questionable tag after a limited session on Friday. He has dealt with multiple injuries this year already and has yet to look like the uber-explosive backup fantasy managers drafted him to be. With the back issue likely capping his touches and hindering his efficiency, Warren sits near the back of the RB3 ranks versus Baltimore.

Jaylen Warren (back) is questionable for Week 11 against the Ravens.
Warren practiced in a limited capacity on Friday and he appears to be truly questionable for the Steelers’ AFC North showdown against the Ravens. He makes for an uncertain bench stash at this time. There are likely healthy alternatives available on the waiver wire.

Steelers added Jaylen Warren (back) to Thursday’s injury report.
Not great, folks. It’s bad enough to be added to the injury report on a Thursday, but it’s even worse to be listed as a DNP. Warren can put some concerns to rest regarding his Week 11 availability if he’s able to practice in some capacity on Friday, but this is something worth monitoring over the next 24 hours as we prepare to head into the weekend. If Warren can’t go, Cordarrelle Patterson would see an uptick in touches while Najee Harris remains cemented in his high-volume role against the Ravens.
