Jets placed TE Jason Pociask (shoulder) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Pociask, a Wisconsin fifth-rounder, wouldn’t have had any fantasy value, but should compete for a job on the roster in 2007 training camp.
  • DAL Running Back
    Seahawks released TE Jason Pociask.
Wisconsin’s onetime blocking TE to Owen Daniels’ pass catcher, Pociask was a holdover from the Jim Mora “era.” Seattle will move forward with Chris Baker, Anthony McCoy, Cam Morrah, and Jameson Konz behind John Carlson.

  • FA Tight End #83
Patriots re-signed TE Stephen Spach and waived TE Jason Pociask.
The Patriots realized why the Jets dumped Pociask quickly. Spach will resume his role as the team’s third tight end.
  • DAL Running Back
Patriots claimed TE Jason Pociask off waivers from the Jets.
The Pats never pass on a chance to get inside info from their arch enemy. Pociask can also block and may make third TE Stephen Spach expendable.
  • DAL Running Back
Jets waived TE Jason Pociask, DL Ropati Pitoitua, WR Paul Raymond, and LB Brandon Renkart.
Pociask couldn’t beat out Bubba Franks to be the third tight end.
  • DAL Running Back
Jets signed fifth-round TE Jason Pociask to an undisclosed contract.
Pociask was the blocking half of Wisconsin’s tight end duo that included Texans draftee Owen Daniels. He’ll likely be asked to play special teams as a rookie.
  • TB Defensive Lineman
Bucs signed DT Dre Moore, OT Julius Wilson, CB Kyle Arrington, DB Greg Fassitt, DL Louis Holmes, OT Anthony Alabi, K Shane Andrus, S Jamall Johnson, and TE Jason Pociask to reserve/future contracts.
Moore is the most notable name here. Tampa’s fourth-round pick in 2008, he reported to the team overweight and spent his first year on the practice squad. Andrus will be a “camp leg” behind Matt Bryant. Pociask is a blocker.
  • Cowboys signed OT Robert Brewster, WRs Jeff Moturi and Troy Bergeron, DE/OLB Alex Daniels, TE Jason Pociask, OG Travis Bright, LB Kelvin Smith, and CB Ross Weaver to reserve/future contracts.
They’ll be carried on the 80-man offseason roster. The 75th overall pick in the 2009 draft, Brewster is the most heralded prospect of the group, though he didn’t generate any interest on Dallas’ practice squad all year.
  • DAL Running Back
Cowboys signed TE Jason Pociask, formerly of the Seahawks.
Pociask will provide depth with John Phillips out for the season, Scott Sicko sidelined with a concussion, and Martellus Bennett still working back from a sprained ankle. He’s a blocking TE that can also play some fullback.
