Michigan State senior T Jarrett Horst (medical reasons) missed Saturday’s 40-29 loss to Purdue.
Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker wouldn’t let on more about what kept Horst (6'6/305) sidelined on Saturday, outside of calling it “medical reasons”. Horst has started at left tackle for Michigan State in every game this season, having allowed nine pressures, six hurries and one sack on the season per Pro Football Focus. Quarterback Payton Thorne would have liked to of had Horst in this one, as he was sacked three times on the day in the upset loss. The Spartans play host to the Terrapins next Saturday.
