49ers signed DL Evan Anderson, DL Alex Barrett, LB Jalen Graham and TE Brayden Willis to their one-year exclusive rights tendered contracts.
Out of the four, Anderson had the greatest impact last season, tallying a forced fumble and a sack in 12 games. He will return to the 49ers - along with Barrett, Graham, and Willis - after signing an exclusive rights tender. The 49ers round out the edges of their roster heading into draft week.
  • SF Linebacker #41
49ers selected Purdue LB Jalen Graham with the No. 255 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Graham (6’2/220) switched from safety to linebacker for the 2021 season and was an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in each of the last two seasons. Still built like a safety, Graham needs to add some weight to round into an NFL linebacker. Graham struggled in pass coverage during his time at Purdue and posted underwhelming workout numbers to earn a meager 4.33 relative athletic score. His familiarity with the safety position allows him to be used in a versatile manner, as he occasionally served as a nickel back for the Boilermakers, and could be used similarly at the next level.
