Bucs selected Georgia P Jake Camarda with the No. 133 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Camarda (6'2/180) comes into the 2022 NFL Draft after four years with Georgia. In 2021, Camarda punted 47 times with an average of 46.7 yards per attempt, posting a long of 68 yards and a total of 2,197 yards, pinning 11 of his attempts inside the 20-yard line. Among Camarda’s most successful seasons was the 2019 one when he was called upon to punt 61 times with an average of 46.8 yards, a long of 67 yards, and a total of 2,857 yards. He earned plenty of accolades in 2021, named to the Coaches All-SEC first-team and AP All-SEC second-team. He ends his time in Athens as UGA’s career leader in punting average (45.78), enough to put him on top of 2009 Ray Guy Award winner Drew Butler (45.4).
