  • PIT Running Back #45
Oregon State sophomore QB Jack Colletto will start against Colorado on Saturday.
Colletto (6'3/222) came in for the injured Conor Blount (concussion) in this past weekend’s loss to Cal. Blount is doubtful for Saturday, while Jake Luton (ankle) remains a hopeful-but-uncertain proposition for the upcoming contest. So, Colletto. He completed 11-of-20 passes for 104 yards and a pick after coming in for Blount versus the Golden Bears.

Oregon State sophomore QB Jack Colletto completed 11-of-20 passes for 104 yards with an interception in a 49-7 loss to Cal on Saturday.
Colletto was pressed into action when Conor Blount went down with an injury, and as has been the case when the former Arizona Western quarterback has played, he struggled. The interception was return for a touchdown, with the only good news being that it came when they were down five scores already. Colletto might have to start next Saturday if Blount and Jake Luton can’t go against Colorado.

Oregon State received a verbal commitment from three-star 2018 JuCo QB Jack Colletto.
Colletto commits to the Beavers over finalist Vanderbilt, and also held an offer from Memphis. He was the Gatorade Player Of The Year for the state of Washington in 2016, but didn’t receive big-time offers and instead went to play for two-year power Arizona Western. 247 Sports ranked him the eighth best signal-caller in the junior college ranks. He’ll likely serve as a backup in 2018, but because of the uncertainty at the position, he could get a chance to be the starter in the 2018 season for the Beavers.
