South Dakota LB Jack Cochrane impressed scouts with great athletic testing at his Pro Day.
Cochrane (6'3"/236) ran a 4.61 40, had 19 bench press reps, a 41" vert, 10'4" broad jump, 4.07 shuttle and 7.27 three-cone. The vertical and shuttle times really stand out, showing an NFL level of explosion. His vertical would’ve been second amongst LBs to Georgia’s Channing Tindall at the Combine, and his shuttle would’ve been tied-3rd amongst ALL players. He had 103 total tackles (10 for loss), two sacks, four interceptions and ten pass breakups in 2021, showing he’s got some great coverage skills as well.
