  • MIA Tackle #77
Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel said Isaiah Wynn (quad) will open the season on the reserve/PUP list.
Wynn is working through a quad injury that has sidelined him throughout camp. The veteran tackle has dealt with injuries the last two seasons, appearing in just 16 of a possible 34 games. Wynn will not be eligible to return until Week 5, putting Austin Jackson in line to start at right tackle out of the gate.
  • MIA Tackle #77
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that the Dolphins have placed LG Isaiah Wynn on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
Wynn landed on injured reserve after suffering a Week 7 quadriceps strain and he has evidently yet to fully recover. The Dolphins are smartly playing things cautiously with their shallow offensive line depth. EDGE Cameron Goode was also moved to the PUP list while running back Salvon Ahmed was sent to the active/non-football injury (NFI) list. Players who remain on the active/PUP list come Week 1 must remain sidelined for at least four games.
  • MIA Tackle #77
Dolphins agreed to terms with OL Isaiah Wynn on a one-year contract.
Wynn started seven games for the Dolphins last season before landing on injured reserve following a Week 7 loss to the Eagles. In the seven games he played in, Wynn earned a PFF blocking grade of 47.8. While he didn’t allow any sacks on 224 pass block attempts, he graded poorly as a run blocker and has shown a decline as a run blocker in each of his last two seasons. He could get another chance to bounce back in 2024, but with injuries slowing him in back-to-back seasons, it’s possible he’s on the downturn of his career.
  • MIA Tackle #77
Dolphins signed RT Isaiah Wynn to a one-year contract.
Wynn was limited to nine games before going on IR last year. The 27-year-old has struggled with injuries, missing 23 games since entering the league in 2018. Wynn was benched twice in his final year with the Patriots but will get a chance to rehab his value in Miami. Signing Wynn gives the Dolphins the option to move RT Austin Jackson back inside.

  • MIA Tackle #77
Patriots placed RT Isaiah Wynn (foot) on injured reserve.
Hounded by back, shoulder and foot issues this season, Wynn’s foot has had him on the shelf since Week 12. The I.R. placement ends his regular season and most likely his 2022 campaign. It’s a contract year for the 2018 first-rounder, and a hugely disappointing one at that. Injuries have been an ongoing issue. Wynn has appeared in more than 10 games one time in five years. The Pats have been mixing and matching at right tackle opposite Trent Brown.

  • MIA Tackle #77
Patriots RT Isaiah Wynn (foot) will not play in Week 13 against the Bills.
Wynn went down with the foot issue in Week 11 and has been out ever since. Yodny Cajuste, who is questionable with a calf issue, took his place in the lineup for Week 12. Cajuste got in a limited practice on Wednesday, so he should be able to play against the Bills.

  • MIA Tackle #77
Patriots RT Isaiah Wynn (foot) left Week 11’s game against the Jets and did not return.
Per The Athletic’s Jeff Howe, he will likely miss time. Trent Brown, who was benched, replaced Wynn at right tackle after he left the game. Brown figures to be the starter in Week 12, as it’s wildly unlikely that Wynn would get it turned around for a Thursday game against the Vikings even in a best-case scenario.

  • FA Tackle #61
Patriots RT Marcus Cannon (concussion) is out Week 9 against the Colts.
Cannon has taken over the starting right tackle job over the last several weeks. Isaiah Wynn should return to the right tackle spot with Cannon out. With C David Andrews also out due to a concussion, the Patriots will have two backups starting against the Colts.

  • MIA Tackle #77
Patriots RT Isaiah Wynn (shoulder) is questionable for Week 8 against the Jets.
Wynn missed Week 7 but has a chance to play Sunday after getting in three limited practices. The 2018 first-round pick has struggled since making the move to right tackle this season, leading the NFL in penalties while getting benched twice. With the Patriots shopping Wynn ahead of the trade deadline, it’s possible Wynn is held out again this week.

  • NE Wide Receiver #84
NFL Network’s Mike Giardi reports that the Patriots have received multiple trade calls on Kendrick Bourne and LT Isaiah Wynn.
Bourne was a scratch in Week 7 with turf toe, but hasn’t played more than 57% of the snaps in any game this season. Wynn notably played just 60% of the snaps in Week 6 and has seemed to have fallen out of favor with New England. The price for both players probably won’t be too high as neither of them seem to factor that deeply into the Patriots plans beyond 2022.
