247Sports’ Brendan Sonnone reports that Florida State redshirt sophomore CB Isaiah Bolden entered the NCAA transfer portal.
Bolden (6'2/196) signed on with Florida State as a four-star cornerback recruit in the 2018 class. He played in 13 games last season, logging nine tackles in that space. The redshirt sophomore transitioned from defensive back to wide receiver during preseason camp. He did not appear in FSU’s dispiriting 16-13 loss to Georgia Tech this past weekend. Consider it a thinning of depth for FSU HC Mike Norvell and staff. The Seminoles are off on bye this week -- much to shore up coming off that inaugural defeat -- and will tango with conference rival Miami on Sept. 26.

Florida State redshirt freshman CB Isaiah Bolden remains out after suffering a hamstring injury early in fall camp.
Bolden (6'2/194), who appeared in Florida State’s comeback win over Samford last season, is expected to provide additional depth in the defensive secondary this fall. But with the hamstring injury he’s been unable to return to practice, and no timetable has been given by Florida State regarding a possible return.

Florida State signed uncommitted four-star 2018 CB Isaiah Bolden.
The Seminoles drew their fair share of flak for a deflating start to the early signing period, but they flipped stud S Jaiden Woodbey from an Ohio State commitment late Wednesday night and now follow it up by grabbing Bolden. This can be directly attributed to the presence of HC Willie Taggart. The 6-foot-1, 170-pounder had been committed to Taggart’s Oregon squad up until Dec. 5, then reopened his recruitment and will now be following Taggart to Tallahassee. Bolden ranks as Rivals’ No. 18 corner prospect in the 2018 class.

Oregon four-star 2018 verbal CB commit Isaiah Bolden reopened his recruitment.
Bolden (6'1/170) had been committed to Oregon since April. The Ducks have now lost two pledges on the heels of HC Willie Taggart taking the job at Florida State earlier on Tuesday. Rivals ranks the Tampa native as the No. 18 cornerback prospect in the 2018 class. He also has experience at safety. What to watch, here -- whether Bolden follows Taggart to Tallahassee. He had been pledged to FSU before Oregon flipped him over the spring.
