The Raiders claimed DB Jack Jones off waivers.
Jones was waived by the Patriots after playing just 10 snaps in Week 10. He was a fourth-round pick of the Patriots in 2022 and was let go after declining opportunity his sophomore year. Jones now joins the Raiders secondary as a young player with rookie year production. DE Isaac Rochell was waived by Las Vegas in a corresponding move.
  • FA Wide Receiver #13
Browns signed WR Javon Wims, formerly of the Raiders.
Cleveland also announced the signing of defensive end Isaac Rochell. Wims joined the Raiders on a reserve/future contract after the end of the 2021 season but was released in March. He hasn’t appeared in a game since 2020. Wims will need to impress in training camp to make the Browns’ final roster.

  • FA Defensive End #96
Colts signed DL Isaac Rochell, formerly of the Chargers, to a one-year, $2.5 million contract.
Rochell played significant snaps for the Chargers in 2020 when Melvin Ingram went down with an injury. He finished the year with 2.5 sacks, and had nine total sacks in four years with the Bolts. He profiles as a rotational player in the Colts defense.

  • FA Defensive End #96
Chargers did not tender restricted free agent DE Isaac Rochell.
A fringe starter, Rochell broke into the Chargers’ starting lineup in 2020 when Melvin Ingram went down with an injury. The former seventh-round pick will be 26 years old next season. He has 1.0 and 2.5 sacks over his last two years.

  • FA Defensive End #96
Chargers re-signed DE Isaac Rochell to a one-year, $825,000 contract.
Rochell was an exclusive rights free agent. A 2017 seventh-rounder, Rochell played nearly half the Chargers’ defensive snaps in 2018 but saw that number fall to under 30 percent last season. He turns 25 next month.
  • FA Defensive End #96
Chargers selected Notre Dame DL Isaac Rochell with the No. 225 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
This is a solid selection in the seventh-round. Rochell has plenty of experience in an odd man front and attended the Senior Bowl. Over the last three seasons he was on the field over 83 percent of the time and tested in the 51st percentile. Expect Rochell to act as depth.
