NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports the Seahawks are scheduled to interview Lions OL coach Hank Fraley for their offensive coordinator vacancy.
Fraley spent 11 years in the league and has served as the Lions’ offensive line coach since 2020. Having played a key role in the Lions’ explosive run game, the Seahawks’ interest in Fraley lies in their hope to improve a running game that they were underwhelmed with under offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb. Nearly all of Fraley’s coaching experience has been as an offensive line coach. He has not worked as an offensive coordinator in any capacity.

Browns acquired C Hank Fraley for an undisclosed pick in 2008.
Their release of Ross Tucker makes more sense now. Fraley, a backup in Philly, should start right away and could solidify a shaky Cleveland interior line. This is good news for Charlie Frye and Reuben Droughns.

Vikings hired former Rams, Eagles, and Browns OL Hank Fraley as assistant offensive line coach.
Fraley spent a decade in the NFL (2001-2010), primarily playing center. He was last heard of when the Rams made Fraley one of their final cuts in 2011 camp. In Minnesota, Fraley will be tasked with coaching up young OLs Matt Kalil, John Sullivan, Brandon Fusco, and Phil Loadholt. Minnesota has an excellent young offensive line core, as none of those players is 30 years old yet.

C Hank Fraley suffered a shoulder injury Sunday that may sideline him for the rest of the season.
If Fraley is placed on injured reserve, Jamaal Jackson is expected to be activated from the practice squad and could start this week against Dallas.

Eagles placed C Hank Fraley on injured reserve with a rotator cuff injury, ending his season.
Second-year man Trey Darilek will likely take over at center for the Eagles, whose offense continues to take hits.
  • Browns LG Eric Steinbach has recovered early from his appendectomy and is practicing at Organized Team Activities.
Good news for the running game and whoever will be quarterbacking the offense come Week 1. Steinbach, flanked by Hank Fraley and Kevin Shaffer at practice Wednesday, will likely soon have Joe Thomas to his left side.
  • FA Center #50
Browns selected California C Alex Mack with the No. 21 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Mack was the only offensive lineman at the Senior Bowl who could keep B.J. Raji contained. Eric Mangini hopes he’ll be as effective as Nick Mangold in New York. The Browns may now consider cutting incumbent Hank Fraley.
  • FA Center #50
Browns rookie center Alex Mack is expected to start over Hank Fraley this season.
The Browns used the No. 21 overall pick on Mack, so he’ll have high expectations right off the bat. If Mack adjusts quickly in training camp, Fraley’s roster spot would be jeopardy.

The new Browns’ coaching staff reportedly wants to get bigger at center and “more powerful at the point of attack.”
Incumbent Hank Fraley is going on 32 and Cleveland could invest a high pick on a center. Eric Wood and Antoine Caldwell are third-round possibilities.
  • FA Center #50
First-round pick Alex Mack appeared to nail down the Browns’ starting center job Saturday night.
The 21st selection took the vast majority of first-team snaps, replacing Hank Fraley. The Browns’ running game still isn’t hitting on all cylinders, but Mack has much more upside than Cleveland’s incumbent starter.
