Browns placed C Ethan Pocic (knee) on injured reserve.
He’ll miss at least four weeks. The Browns signed Greg Mancz to replace Pocic on the active roster. Hjalte Froholdt played center in Pocic’s absence.

Bills signed OL Greg Mancz, formerly of the Dolphins, to a one-year contract.
The contract terms are not yet known. Mancz played four games for the Dolphins in 2021, ending his season on injured reserve with an ankle injury. He also dealt with an ankle issue with the Texans in 2019. That limited him to just nine games in 2019 and led to his release after the season. Mancz played just one game for the Titans in 2020. Entering his age-30 season, Mancz’s ability to stay healthy is not a given. Still, Mancz is a solid depth addition for the Bills. He was playing well, particularly as a pass blocker, before dealing with injury.

Dolphins placed C Greg Mancz (ankle) on injured reserve.
Mancz left after just nine snaps against the Texans due to an ankle injury. Austin Reiter took over after the injury and will likely be the fill-in starter as long as Mancz is sidelined. This injury is another blow to an already struggling offensive line.

Dolphins C Greg Mancz (ankle) will not play Week 10 against the Ravens.
Mancz started at center against the Texans but left after just nine snaps. Austin Reiter took over after that and will likely get the start against the Ravens. It is more bad news for an offensive line that has struggled to create running lanes all season.

Dolphins acquired OL Greg Mancz and a seventh-round pick from the Ravens for a sixth-round pick.
It’s a late-round pick swap for Mancz. Trading the ex-Texans offensive lineman is a good move for the Ravens, as he likely wouldn’t have made the opening day roster. The 29-year-old will back up on the interior in Miami.

    Texans released C Greg Mancz.
One of the Texans’ top reserve interior lineman for the past half decade, Mancz heads to the open market with 28 career starts to his name. He does have a bit of an injury history. 2020 is Mancz’s age-26 campaign.

Texans OL Greg Mancz (ankle) underwent arthroscopic surgery.
Mancz was limited to nine games (one start) last year, missing five weeks with a concussion. His ankle injury won’t impact his status for OTAs. Signed through 2020, Mancz will return as the top interior swingman for the Texans.

Texans C Greg Mancz was carted to the locker room in Thursday’s preseason game.
Mancz has been running with the first team for all of training camp as Nick Martin battles a hamstring injury. RG Zach Fulton kicked over to the pivot after Mancz departed.

Greg Mancz will open the season as the Texans’ starting center.
He’s locked in with second-round pick Nick Martin’s season over. A second-year UDFA out of Toledo, Mancz was College Football Focus’ highest-graded center in the nation as a senior and stands a sturdy 6-foot-5 and 301 pounds. He went undrafted in 2015 after suffering a shoulder injury at the East-West Shrine Game. For what it’s worth, Pro Football Focus has graded Mancz solidly in pass protection but poorly in run blocking through 58 preseason snaps.

Texans signed Toledo C Greg Mancz.
Mancz (6'5/301) made 48 starts for the Rockets, moving from left guard to center as a senior and earning first-team All-MAC honors. Mancz tore a labrum in his shoulder during East-West Shrine practices and was unable to work out before the draft. A technically sound blocker with experience all over the line, Mancz has a chance to develop into a useful “swing” reserve or low-end starter once he gets healthy. He may redshirt his rookie year.
