  • DEN Tight End #80
Greg Dulcich was held without a target in the Broncos’ Week 3 win over the Bucs.
Dulcich has five catches for 28 yards through three games. We’ll let you know if something changes.
  • DEN Tight End #80
Broncos TE Greg Dulcich (knee/ankle) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 3 against the Bucs.
Dulcich has had no issue earning targets this year. He has 11 looks through two weeks despite ceding snaps to backup Adam Trautman. His issue, like the rest of the Denver offense, has been efficiency. Dulcich has turned those 11 looks in a grand total of 28 yards. He is stuck in the low-end TE2 range for Week 3.
  • DEN Tight End #80
Greg Dulcich (knee, ankle) was upgraded to “full” for Thursday’s practice.
He’s going to be out there against the Bucs. Dulcich has 11 targets but only 28 yards through two weeks. We would like to say the center can’t hold there, but that’s “Bo Nix ball.” Dulcich is a low-upside TE2.
  • DEN Tight End #80
Broncos TE Greg Dulcich (knee/ankle) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
A limited session to open the week is usually nothing, but it bears monitoring for Dulcich. The former third-round pick has a laundry list of injuries since entering the league two years ago and only appeared in two games in 2023. He saw eight targets in Week 2 but only reeled in three of those looks for 16 yards. If healthy, Dulcich will have some TE2 juice versus the Bucs.
  • DEN Tight End #80
Greg Dulcich caught 3-of-8 targets for 16 yards in a Week 2 loss to the Steelers.
Yes, Dulcich did lead the team in targets, which is great, but he also wasn’t able to get anything going in this Broncos offense. He did drop a wide-open pass for a 12-yard gain, but he and Bo Nix also didn’t appear to be on the same page on a few throws and there was little open space for Dulcich on most of his routes. It’s hard to have much confidence in him for fantasy right now.
  • DEN Tight End #85
TE Lucas Krull caught 4-of-4 targets for 37 yards and one fumble lost in the Broncos’ preseason game against the Colts.
Krull mixed in for one first-team-offense snap, playing behind starter Adam Trautman (0 targets) and Greg Dulcich (who caught 1-of-2 targets for 5 yards). Should the Broncos continue their tight end quagmire, none of the three will be fantasy-relevant.
  • DEN Tight End #80
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports the Broncos are expecting a big season out of TE Greg Dulcich.
Dulcich’s first two pro seasons were torpedoed by serious hamstring injuries. Last year’s hamstring woes put him in Sean Payton’s doghouse, though Payton has seemingly come around on the highly-athletic Dulcich, saying the tight end in training camp has shown “glimpses” of what he can bring to Denver’s offense. Fowler said Dulcich has shown plenty of “big play ability” in summer practices. The 2022 third round pick will battle for tight end snaps this year with Lucas Krull and Adam Trautman.
  • DEN Tight End #80
Broncos HC Sean Payton told reporters he expects TE Greg Dulcich to return prior to training camp.
Hamstring and foot injuries ended Dulcich’s 2023 season prematurely but Payton told reporters "[Dulcich] is close [to returning],” per Denver Sports’ Andrew Mason. “His rehab has gone well” and Payton expects Dulcich to return prior to the team’s July training camp. The 2022 third-round pick has been plagued by recurring hamstring strains but the starting tight end job is his for the taking, if healthy.
  • DEN Tight End #80
Broncos TE Greg Dulcich (hamstring, foot) had his practice window to come off injured reserve expire prior to Week 18.
Dulcich will remain on injured reserve after his 21-day activation window expired. This effectively ends his season after playing in just two games. Dulcich struggled with hamstring and foot injuries, finishing with 3 receptions for 25 yards on the year.
  • DEN Tight End #80
Broncos TE Greg Dulcich (hamstring/foot) did not practice Thursday.
It’s appearing more and more likely that the second-year tight end’s season has come to an end. With nothing left for the Broncos to play for and quarterback Russell Wilson on the bench, it wouldn’t make sense for the franchise to rush Dulcich back before he is fully healthy.
