Giants activated K Graham Gano from injured reserve.
Gano has missed the previous seven games but will kick for the Giants in Week 10 in Munich after the team activated him from injured reserve. The Giants rank 10th in the league with 1.8 field goals per game, meaning Gano could carry fantasy value for those that continue to compete in leagues that require a starting kicker.

Giants head coach Brian Daboll said K Graham Gano (hamstring) will miss a few weeks.
Gano injured his hamstring on the opening kickoff of New York’s Week 2 game against the Commanders and could not kick for the remainder of the contest. The team will likely host kicker tryouts in the coming days before their Week 3 game against the Browns.

Giants K Graham Gano (hamstring) is doubtful to return in Week 2 against the Commanders.
Gano injured his hamstring on the opening kickoff of the game and was spotted on the sidelines in a ballcap, confirming he is done for the day. Punter Jamie Gilliam will handle kicking duties for the remainder of the day. Gano’s absence will likely force the Giants to go for it in spots that would otherwise kick the field goal or extra point.

The Giants added Graham Gano to the injury report with a groin injury.
The kicker doesn’t have an injury designation for the game, so he’s available to kick and will likely suit up; however, it’s worth monitoring that he’s dealing with some injury. If he reaggravates it during the game, it would obviously change the Giants’ offensive approach.

Giants K Graham Gano is set to undergo knee surgery and will be placed on injured reserve.
This report comes via NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Fantasy managers rostering Gano will need a new kicker for the next few weeks, as Gano will be required to miss at least the next four games. The Giants signed Gano to a three-year, $16.5 million extension in September, but veteran has struggled to live up to his deal, converting 11-of-17 field goal attempts, which is well below the 90.6 percent conversion rate he had last year. In a corresponding move, the Giants signed veteran Randy Bullock to the practice squad and will likely elevate him before Sunday’s Week 9 contest against the Raiders.

Giants signed K Graham Gano to a three-year, $16.5 million contract extension.
Like Denny Carter, the Giants recognize the value of a good kicker. Gano joined the Giants in 2020 and has converted on 89 of his 97 field goal attempts since. Additionally, Gano is also 20-of-25 on tries from 50-plus yards, making him one of the more dangerous kickers in the league. Gano’s contract reportedly includes $11.3 million in guaranteed money, and he is now under contract through 2027.
  • FA Kicker (FG) #2
Giants signed K Ryan Santoso, formerly of the Jaguars.
Santoso was waived by Jacksonville this week. It’d be a shock if Santoso won the Giants’ starting job over Graham Gano, who in 2021 made 29 of his 33 field goal tries as New York’s most potent weapon. Gano could be dealing with an injury, as the Giants plan on sitting him for their final preseason game.

Giants activated K Graham Gano and S Xavier McKinney ahead of Week 12’s game against the Bengals.
Gano is now off the reserve/COVID-19 list, while McKinney has been on injured reserve with a broken foot. Gano should immediately slot back into lead kicking duties against the Bengals, where the Giants are -6 favorites.

Giants placed K Graham Gano on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Fresh off signing a three year, $14 million extension, Gano will self isolate through the team’s Week 11 bye. Two close contacts identified are Giants staff members and were told to stay home Tuesday. The Giants might have to sign a kicker off the street for their Week 12 game against the Bengals. Gano has made 21 of 22 field goal tries this season.

Giants signed K Graham Gano to a three-year, $14 million extension.
Gano will be in New York through the 2023 season. He’s been money this season, converting 20-of-21 attempts, but signing kickers to legit money is dangerous as kicking tends to come and go. Of the $14 million of new money, $9.5 million is guaranteed.
