Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller compared Villanova T Ethan Greenidge to Buffalo Bills T LaAdrian Waddle.
“Experience and potential positional flexibility make him worth a preseason roster spot, but he’ll have to clean up technical deficiencies on a practice squad for at least a year,” Miller writes of the 6-foot-4, 327-pound Greenidge. The analyst believes that the Villanova product lacks some of the necessary punch and power for immediate work, among other attributes.
  • NFL Media’s Lance Zierlein believes Villanova OT Ethan Greenidge’s “size and length should get him a Day 3 look in the draft.”
Greenidge clocks in at 6-foot-4, 327 pounds and was a four-year starter for the Wildcats. Zierlein believes he’ll have issues “with balance and technique will be hard to mask and he lacks leverage and drive strength teams look for inside.” Greenidge has a 50-50 chance of making an NFL roster and will likely be selected at some point late on Day 3.
  • Villanova senior T Ethan Greenidge accepted an invitation to play the East-West Shrine Game.
Greenidge is a four-year start for the Wildcats, and was a preseason All-American for the Wildcats coming into the year. At 6-foot-4, 335-pounds, he might need to move inside, but he’ll get a chance to play tackle in the Shrine Game and show that he can play on the outside at the highest level.
