Dolphins declared QB Quinn Ewars, CB Ethan Bonner, CB Storm Duck, WR Tahj Washington, and DT Zeek Biggers inactive for Week 4 against the Jets.
Miami continues to trudge on with numerous key injuries in their secondary, and Week 4 is no different. Three starters will not be with the team for their matchup against the Jets, in addition to regular backup Ethan Bonner. Garrett Wilson could be in for a big fantasy outing.
  • MIA Running Back #5
Dolphins declared RB Jaylen Wright, QB Quinn Ewers, CB Ethan Bonner, CB Storm Duck, TE Darren Waller, WR Tahj Washington, and DT Benito Jones inactive for Week 2 against the Patriots
Wright is set to miss his second straight game due to a knee injury. He practiced in a limited fashion to end the week, but is still not ready to return to game speed, making Ollie Gordon the primary No. 2 running back for Week 2. Waller (hip) was ruled out earlier this week while Duck (ankle), Bonner (hamstring), and Jones (obique) will be missing for a defense that is already struggling.
  • MIA Safety #21
Dolphins S Ashtyn Davis (calf) was limited on Thursday.
Dolphins backup CB Ethan Bonner (hamstring) did not practice and fellow backup DB Elijah Campbell was added to the injury report with a knee injury, suggesting he suffered a new injury in practice. The Dolphins’ secondary was already among the league’s most fantasy-friendly units—but now its depth is in trouble.
  • MIA Quarterback #18
Dolphins declared QB Tyler Huntley, LB Anthony Walker, CB Ethan Bonner, CB Kendall Fuller, TE Jack Stoll and WR Dee Eskridge inactive for Week 13 against the Packers.
Huntley was activated off injured reserve Thursday, but he’ll be the emergency quarterback for Thursday’s bout against Green Bay. Skylar Thompson will be the backup for Tua Tagovailoa versus the Packers instead.
  • MIA Cornerback #27
Uncommitted 2018 CB Ethan Bonner recorded a 40-yard dash time of 4.55 seconds at The Opening regional in Houston.
Bonner’s time in the 40 tied with RB Naveon Mitchell for the fourth-best number in that testing event. Still in the infancy of the 2018 cycle, the 6-foot-1, 166-pounder has received interest from Louisiana Tech. Continued strong work on the spring and summer camp circuit could go a ways toward bumping the Woodlands, Texas, native’s recruiting stock.
  • MIA Cornerback #27
Stanford signed previously three-star 2018 CB Ethan Bonner in December, who had previously been committed to Northwestern.
Bonner (6'1/180) had been committed to Northwestern since last April, but he decommitted and pledged to the Cardinal in September. He’s ranked as the 126th best cornerback in 247 Sports composite rankings, and 192nd in the state of Texas. He’s been clocked at 4.55 in his 40-yard dash, so he has the athleticism on top of the size to be a competent Pac-12 corner.
