Easter Michigan junior WR Dylan Drummond caught six passes for 63 yards and a touchdown in a 55-24 win over Bowling Green on Saturday.
Drummond (6'1/181) has been the most reliable and favorite target of QB Ben Bryant. Over the last five games, the two have connected for 29 passes for 343 yards and three touchdowns. Today, however, they didn’t connect for Drummond’s lone touchdown of the game, as that was thrown by RB Samson Evans on a nice halfback pass at the end of the third quarter. This chemistry will be key if the Eagles want to make a late-season run and win the Western Division. The Eagles take on Toledo on Tuesday, November 2nd.

Eastern Michigan senior WR Dylan Drummond (undisclosed) was not seen warming up in advance of Wednesday’s game against Toledo.
Drummond (6'1/181) was listed as a starter ahead of EMU’s opening week game against Kent State, however he did not end up playing for unknown reasons. His absence carried over to last week’s game against Ball State as well. There had not been much news coming out of the Eastern Michigan program regarding his availability, but it now appears he will not suit up. The senior wideout had been a key cog in the Eagles’ offense last season, leading the team in receptions with 55, while racking up 493 yards and three touchdowns.
