    Bengals released P Drue Chrisman.
Chrisman lost the punting battle to sixth-round rookie Brad Robbins. Chrisman kicked in seven games for the Bengals last season, totaling 28 punts for 1,192 net yards and an average of 42.6 net yards per punt. He could have a chance to compete elsewhere for a gig at some point this season.
  • CIN Punter #10
Former Bengals P Kevin Huber announced his retirement after 14 NFL seasons.
Huber, who joined the Bengals in 2009, was among the league’s most reliable punters over his lengthy tenure in Cincinnati. The Bengals released Huber, 37, last December after consistent struggles over the season’s first few months. Drue Chrisman and Brad Robbins will compete for the Bengals’ punting job this summer.

Ohio State senior P Drue Chrisman entered the 2021 NFL Draft.
Chrisman could have stayed another year due to a new NCAA ruling related to the COVID-shortened season, but he’ll be making his jump to the NFL. Chrisman finished the season 13th in average net punting at 45.04 yards. That mark was also good for second in the Big Ten. Punters don’t get drafted too often, but look out for Chrisman late Day 3.
