    Cardinals released OL Dennis Daley.
This news comes from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Daley was a sixth-round pick of the Panthers back in 2019 and has 37 career starts to his name. He appeared in just three games for the Cardinals last season while making one start and started 15 of the 17 games he appeared in for the Titans in 2022. Daley has experience at tackle and along the interior. The 28-year-old vet should catch on with another team, even if it’s just for a depth role.

Cardinals HC Jonathan Gannon said OL Dennis Daley (ankle) will not play in Week 1 against the Commanders.
Daley is listed as the second-string guard on the Cardinals’ depth chart, making this injury more impactful on the team’s overall depth. Daley reportedly suffered his injury in the Cardinals’ final preseason game against the Vikings, but he doesn’t look like a candidate for injured reserve at this time.
  • JAX Guard #78
Cardinals signed T Dennis Daley to a two-year contract.
New Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort previously served in Tennessee’s front office, where Daley played for the 2022 season - making 15 starts. The problem is that Daley graded out as the 78th-ranked tackle, per Pro Football Focus, of 81 qualifying tackles during those 15 starts last season. Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray could be forced out of the pocket at a higher frequency than in season’s past.

  • JAX Guard #78
Titans acquired OL Dennis Daley and a 2024 seventh-round pick from the Panthers in exchange for a 2024 fifth-round pick.
Drafted by the Panthers in 2019, Daley has taken snaps at every offensive line position but center since joining the league. The bulk of his snaps have come at tackle. He has started 18 games for Carolina including nine in 2021. Pro Football Focus has generally graded Daley as a middling run-blocker and a poor pass-blocker. Daley was unlikely to crack the Panthers’ final roster, making this a savvy deal from GM Scott Fitterer.

Panthers placed RG Dennis Daley on injured reserve with a concussion, ending his season.
Daley has not played since Week 11. Obviously this long of an absence with a head injury is a concerning sign. Completing his age-24 campaign, the versatile Daley is signed through 2022.

Panthers RG Dennis Daley (concussion) is out for Week 15 against the Packers.
Daley hasn’t played since Week 11 with this concussion. This week, Daley was originally listed as doubtful but didn’t travel this week. The Panthers are heavy dogs against Green Bay.

Panthers RG Dennis Daley (concussion) is out Week 12 against the Vikings.
Daley was playing left tackle before sliding to right guard last week because of John Miller’s (knee, ankle) absence. Miller is questionable with that same injury after three straight limited sessions, and LT Russell Okung (calf) is in the same boat. The Panthers could be down three starting linemen if Miller and Okung are unable to go. The Teddy Bridgewater and Christian McCaffrey injuries aren’t the only ones worth monitoring in Carolina.

  • JAX Guard #78
Panthers declared LG Dennis Daley, QB P.J. Walker, CB Stantley Thomas-Oliver, DE Shareef Miller and TE Colin Thompson inactive for Week 1 against the Raiders.
Daley likely will be replaced by newcomer Michael Schofield, who has experience at a previous stop with Panthers OL coach Pat Meyer. Will Grier will operate as the backup QB to Teddy Bridgewater.

Panthers OG Dennis Daley (ankle) out for Week 1.
Carolina will be down a starting guard for their opening game against the Raiders. Panthers GM Marty Hurney said this week that he’s comfortable with the team’s offensive line depth behind Daley, as OL Michael Schofield is expected to start in Daley’s place. Daley’s absence probably won’t be too costly against a Vegas front seven that posted the league’s seventh lowest sack rate in 2019 and was middling against opposing rushers.

Panthers GM Marty Hurney said the team feels comfortable with the depth Michael Schofield provides if Dennis Daley (ankle) can’t play in Week 1.
Schofield would simply come off the bench and start alongside John Miller in Carolina’s interior trenches. The former was a 16-game starter for the Chargers the past two seasons, soaking up 99% of the team’s offensive snaps as an ironman in that span. Russell Okung, Matt Paradis, Taylor Moton, and Miller round out the rest of the Panthers’ O-line.
