Cardinals agreed to terms with RB DeeJay Dallas, formerly of the Seahawks.
Dallas appeared in all 17 games for the Seahawks in 2023 but only saw 16 touches. The former fourth-round pick had seen just over 50 touches in each of his previous three NFL seasons. Despite the lack of looks on offense, Dallas remained a core member of the Seahawks’ special teams unit. He served as the team’s top kick and punt returner while also filling other special teams roles. Dallas will remain a special teams ace with the Cardinals but could see his usage on offense rise as well.

DeeJay Dallas rushed one time for six yards in the Seahawks’ Week 13 loss to the Cowboys.
Completely mothballed behind every-down back Zach Charbonnet in Ken Walker’s (oblique) continued absence, Dallas’ only handle came after Charbonnet departed in the waning moments with a knee injury. Dallas would be the Seahawks’ lead back for Week 14 against the 49ers if neither Walker nor Charbonnet can go.

DeeJay Dallas rushed two times for 10 yards in the Seahawks’ Week 12 loss to the 49ers.
Dallas caught his only target for a five-yard gain. As many expected, Dallas was a distant RB2 for Seattle, even with Ken Walker sidelined. He isn’t worth a stash even in deep dynasty leagues.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker (chest) did not participate in Wednesday practice.
Walker had dealt with a calf injury earlier in the season, and is now on the injury report with a chest issue. He has been out-snapped by Zach Charbonnet in back-to-back games, though both matchups were against stingy Ravens and Browns defenses. If Walker is not fully healthy, that would open the door for Charbonnet to see an increase in opportunities. RB DeeJay Dallas (shoulder) also missed practice while RB Kenny McIntosh (knee) was a full participant.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker (calf) did not participate in Wednesday practice.
Walker has seen high usage this season, including 18 touches in Week 8 against the Cardinals. With an apparent calf injury, his usage may decrease if he plays in Week 8. Walker has been a low-end RB1 this season and fantasy managers should keep an eye on his progress throughout the week. Zach Charbonnet would stand to benefit from Walker missing a game, but Charbonnet is dealing with a hamstring injury, leaving DeeJay Dallas as next man up.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) is not expected to play in Week 7 against the Cardinals.
DeeJay Dallas will back up Kenneth Walker. Walker has been dominating the backfield touches for Seattle and that will continue without Charbonnet in the mix this week. He will again rank as a top-five fantasy option in a great matchup versus Arizona. Dallas will take the field for some passing downs and is not on the fantasy radar.

Seahawks RB Deejay Dallas (illness) is questionable for Week 3 vs the Panthers.
Dallas didn’t practice Friday, putting his status up in the air for Sunday. Rookie Zach Charbonnet would see a few more snaps if Dallas sits:

Ken Walker is sidelined from Seahawks practice with a groin injury.
Coach Pete Carroll made it sound like Walker could be sidelined a decent amount of time as the team waits for the issue to “quiet down.” He did hint it was more caution than concern keeping Walker on the shelf. The news comes as Carroll also announced Zach Charbonnet is out indefinitely with a shoulder issue. That leaves DeeJay Dallas and rookie Kenny McIntosh as the top dogs for now. It sounds like Walker should be back sooner than Charbonnet, but that is never easy to predict in Carroll’s world. All we know right now is that it’s a mess. Expect updates as the week goes on.

Deejay Dallas (ankle/quad) is questionable for the Wild Card game against the 49ers.
Dallas hasn’t missed a game since Week 15, but picked up a new quad listing after Week 18’s game and may not make it to the final line against the 49ers. Pete Carroll usually speaks after releasing designations and we’d expect him to be positive about Dallas’ chances of suiting up. If he isn’t, it’s a troubling sign for the Seattle third-down back and one that could result in more targets for Ken Walker.

DeeJay Dallas (ankle/quad) did not practice on Wednesday.
Like his teammate Ken Walker, Dallas has been on the injury report for the last several weeks but hasn’t missed a game since Week 15. Even if he plays, it’s unlikely will see many opportunities as long as Walker is active. In his last three games, Dallas has totaled just 21 touches for 166 yards and no touchdowns.
