49ers LB Dee Winters (ankle) is questionable for San Francisco’s Wild Card game against the Eagles.
Winters did not practice Wednesday or Thursday and was not seen by media on Friday. The 49ers will give him every hour he can to be healthy as he’s the main incumbent with a chance to play this week. If not, the 49ers will have to turn to Eric Kendricks, Garret Wallow, and possibly new signing Kyzir White in the middle against the Eagles. CB Renardo Green (foot) and DE Keion White (groin/hamstring) are also questionable for the 49ers.

49ers LB Dee Winters (ankle) left San Francisco’s Week 18 game against the Seahawks and is questionable to return.
He was stepped on by Seahawks OL Josh Jones. Winters had two tackles before leaving. He spent some time in the medical tent and walked to the locker room with trainers.

49ers LB Dee Winters (knee) is questionable for Week 10 against the Rams.
The 49ers also listed LB Tatum Bethune (thigh), DL Alfred Collins (hip), DL Kalia Davis (ankle) and DL Keion White (groin) as questionable and are expected to place DL Mykel Williams (knee) on injured reserve. Williams’ expected injured reserve placement, after suffering a torn ACL, will make him the fourth San Francisco pass rusher to be moved there this season. Williams’ 19 quarterback pressures rank second on the team. 49ers LB Fred Warner was placed on injured reserve after suffering a season-ending dislocated ankle injury in Week 6, yet Warner still accounts for the team’s second-highest tackle total (39). Winters leads the way with 53. Rams QB Matthew Stafford should have comfortable pockets this weekend, and RB Kyren Williams could have fairly easy sledding on runs up the middle, 49ers’ questionable statuses pending.

49ers ruled out EDGE Bryce Huff (hamstring) in Week 9 against the Giants.
The 49ers also ruled out EDGE Yetur Gross-Matos (hamstring) and C Jake Brendel (hamstring), while labeling DT Jordan Elliott (ankle/personal matter), LB Dee Winters (knee), DL Sam Okuayinonu (ankle), OG Ben Bartch (ankle) and OL Spencer Burford (knee) questionable for Week 9. The 49ers’ defense is officially one to target for fantasy purposes and their poor health should also reinforce the offense’s passing volume.

49ers LB Dee Winters (knee) left San Francisco’s Week 8 game against the Texans and did not return.
The 49ers used Curtis Robinson in his stead and Robinson would seem to be the replacement if this is a long-term injury. Winters played 58 of 80 defensive snaps and left in the second half.

49ers LB Dee Winters exited Week 3 game against the Rams with an apparent injury.
Winters was knocked to the ground during the Rams’ successful fake punt. He attempted to regain his footing but stumbled after standing. Winters then left the field and entered the medical tent. His status is unknown.

49ers selected TCU LB Dee Winters with the No. 216 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Winters (5’11/227) was a three-year starter for the Horned Frogs during his time at TCU, and closed out his career earning first-team All-Big 12 honors. His pick-six in the semi-finals of the College Football Playoffs helped earn his team a spot in the National Championship game, as he went on to close out his time at TCU with career-highs in tackles (79), TFLs (14.5), and sacks (7.5). A versatile linebacker who can play both inside and outside, Winters has good speed for the position (4.49 40-time) and is capable of bursting into backfields at a moment’s notice. His speed will give him added value on special teams as he adjusts to the pro game.
