Head coach John Harbaugh said that senior WR Daylen Baldwin will see more opportunities.
With Ronnie Bell (knee) done for the season, it’s Baldwin (6'3"/210) who will get the chance to step up for the Wolverines. The Jackson State transfer apparently suffered an injury during fall camp and was a game-time decision, but he played and caught a 69-yard touchdown in the win against Western Michigan. Former Jackson State redshirt junior WR Daylen Baldwin transferred to Michigan.
Baldwin (6'3/210) is headed home, or at least close to it, for the remainder of his college career as he grew up Southfield, Michigan. The redshirt junior spent two seasons at Morgan State before transferring to Jackson State ahead of the 2019 season. Baldwin did not play during that campaign, but he was quite productive for the Tigers this spring, catching 27 passes for 540 yards and seven touchdowns in six games. His best outing came against Mississippi Valley State, as Baldwin caught six passes for 136 yards and three touchdowns. He will have up to two seasons of eligibility remaining at Michigan, and is expected to be eligible immediately as a grad transfer.
