The Athletic’s Alec Lewis reports the Vikings have agreed to terms with RT David Quessenberry.
The Vikings signed Quessenberry on a one-year deal last offseason. He spent 2022 with the Bills after playing three years in Tennessee and one in Houston. Quessenberry made three starts at right tackle and one start at left tackle for the Vikings. He will return to Minnesota as a swing tackle, likely on another one-year deal, for the 2024 season.
  • MIN Tackle #77
Vikings signed OT David Quessenberry, formerly of the Bills.
Quessenberry was re-signed by the Bills in the offseason but did not make it through final cuts earlier this week. A swing tackle entering his age-33 season, he won’t see the field much for Minnesota if their season goes as planned. Quessenberry started all 17 games for the Titans in 2021 but only got three starts in Buffalo last year.
  • Bills released OL David Quessenberry.
The Bills re-signed Quessenberry earlier this offseason as added depth along the offensive line. The veteran became expendable on roster cut-down day with the Bills’ offensive line breaking camp with their health intact but could find another landing spot soon. Entering his age-33 season, Quessenberry has valuable starting experience and has experience at both tackle and guard.
  • MIN Tackle #76
Bills re-signed OT David Quessenberry to a one-year contract.
Quessenberry started three games last season and played both tackle spots, but was mainly just depth behind Spencer Brown and Dion Dawkins. He’s likely to remain a depth player entering his age-33 season with the Bills.

  • MIN Tackle #76
Bills signed OT David Quessenberry, formerly of the Titans, to a one-year contract.
Quessenberry started every game for the Titans last season at right tackle, but Tennessee surprisingly did not tender him as a restricted free agent. He is a great depth signing for the Bills who could possibly push for a starting spot at guard.

Titans did not extend a tender to restricted free agent RT David Quessenberry.
Quessenberry is now an unrestricted free agent. He started 25 consecutive games for the Titans over the past two seasons. Quessenberry was also graded as a top-20 tackle by Pro Football Focus last year, primarily based on his elite run-blocking abilities. He will be a popular name for teams in need of above-average tackle play.

Texans traded up to select San Jose State OT David Quessenberry with the No. 176 overall pick, sending the Nos. 184 and 233 overall picks to the Raiders.
Quessenberry (6-foot-4 7/8, 302) made 37 starts for the Spartans, primarily at left tackle. A former walk-on at tight end, he demonstrates enough athleticism and length (34 3/8") to potentially start at left guard or protect the blindside in a pinch, although Quessenberry must fill out his frame. He ran 5.08 with a 29.5-inch vertical at the Combine and performed 25 reps on the bench. Confirming his impressive short-area movement skills, Quessenberry’s 4.45 20-yard shuttle was third fastest among offensive linemen. He’s a quintessential zone blocker who will never play with power. Quessenberry could sneak into the starting lineup at right guard or right tackle for the Texans.

Texans signed T/G David Quessenberry off the team’s practice squad.
Quessenberry returned to football this year following a three-year battle with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He was among the team’s final cuts during training camp but joined the Texans’ practice squad shortly after. The 27-year-old has yet to play a regular season snap since arriving as a sixth-round pick in 2013.

Texans agreed to terms with No. 176 overall pick OT David Quessenberry on a four-year contract.
Quessenberry has left-tackle size at 6-foot-5, 302 pounds with 34 3/8-inch arms, but doesn’t play with an abundance of power. That’s not a deal-breaker in the Texans’ zone-blocking scheme, but means he’ll need time to refine his technique. Quessenberry could also see time at guard.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette believes San Jose State OT David Quessenberry “fits the profile” of a Packers draft pick.
Quessenberry played primarily left tackle for the Spartans, but the Packers believe the 6-foot-5, 302-pound prospect is capable of playing all three line positions. Quessenberry is long-armed and light on his feet, traits valued in Green Bay’s zone-blocking scheme. Quessenberry projects as a third- or fourth-rounder.
