Texans signed CB D’Angelo Ross to their active roster.
The 27-year-old cornerback had been on the practice squad, but when the Texans placed TE Brevin Jordan on the IR, a spot opened up on the 53-man roster for Ross. Ross was a practice squad elevation on Sunday against the Bears and played on 83 percent of the team’s special team’s snaps, so that will be his primary function in Houston.

Kyle Crabbs of The Draft Network writes that New Mexico CB D’Angelo Ross was a standout at his Pro Day.
Ross wasn’t exactly talked about much this fall or winter, but that could change after his Pro Day. The 5-foot-8, 185-pound corner not only ran an impressive 4.32 second 40-yard dash time, he also showed off a 39-inch vertical leap. “That ALONE will get him a spot on a 90 man roster this summer to see if he can stick,” Crabbs writes. “Teams in attendance? Arizona, Detroit, Green Bay, Jacksonville, San Francisco and Tampa Bay.”
