Chargers coach Anthony Lynn named Dan Feeney the team’s starting left guard over Forrest Lamp.
Overshadowed by Melvin Gordon’s holdout is the fact the Chargers will field one of the league’s most underwhelming o-line’s against the Colts on Sunday. With Trent Scott at LT, Mike Pouncey manning center, Michael Schofield at RG, Sam Tevi out right, and Feeney getting the nod over Lamp, Philip Rivers would be wise to lean on Keenan Allen and Austin Ekeler shallow and over the middle. Lynn added that Lamp could potentially rotate in at both guard spots until fully healthy.
