Ravens fourth-round CB Damarion Williams is expected to compete for a role in the slot.
Marcus Peters (knee) and Marlon Humphrey (chest) are expected to be ready Week 1 after both were lost to season-ending injuries last year. The Ravens didn’t add any corners in free agency but used two of their six fourth-round picks on Williams and CB Jalyn Armour-Davis. Baltimore also has veteran CB Kevon Seymour returning. Williams, a three-year starter and two-time captain at Houston, could have the early edge in the slot.

Ravens selected Houston DB Damarion Williams with the No. 141 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Williams (5'10"/182) is coming off a 2021 campaign where he was named team captain and finished with 57 tackles and an interception. While he spent time covering the perimeter and played some safety in 2021, his size and frame should designate him to slot corner and nickel packages. Although his Composite Speed was good, including a 4.53 40-yard dash, he had a poor Composite Explosions Grades, including a 9"8" broad jump. Twitchy, Williams is excellent in coverage and can quickly gather himself to change direction. He does need to improve on opening up too quickly and getting crossed up. Gaining strength should be an emphasis, but at the very least, Williams has the potential to be an excellent contributor in special packages.
