Ravens TE Crockett Gillmore (shoulder) has been cleared for individual work.
Gillmore has progressed ahead of schedule from March labrum surgery. He’s unlikely to do any full drills, but expects to be ready for training camp. Gillmore is competing for a role with Ben Watson, Maxx Williams, and Dennis Pitta.

Ravens TE Crockett Gillmore suffered a hamstring injury in Friday’s training camp practice and will undergo an MRI.
Gillmore has been all sorts of banged up since initially landing on I.R. late last season with a back injury. He also required surgery on his shoulder this offseason. Gillmore is a solid two-way tight end who can catch and block.
  • BAL Tackle #80
Crockett Gillmore had one catch for two yards in Saturday’s preseason game.
Injuries have left Gillmore as Baltimore’s current starter. He posted a career-high 412 yards and four touchdowns before missing the final six games last year. Gillmore has sleeper potential in the Ravens’ tight end heavy offense.
  • BAL Tackle #80
Ravens TE Crockett Gillmore caught 4-of-7 targets for 28 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s Week 5 loss to the Redskins.
Baltimore’s No. 2 tight end, Gillmore is doing more to hurt Dennis Pitta’s fantasy value than become a legitimate option himself. Gillmore’s score came deep in scoring position to cap the Ravens’ first drive. They failed to score another touchdown the rest of the way. Even with Maxx Williams on I.R., Gillmore would only become a fantasy option if something went wrong with Pitta.

Crockett Gillmore (thigh) remained sidelined at Wednesday’s practice.
With Gillmore still sidelined, Dennis Pitta and Darren Waller remain the Ravens’ top two tight ends and would continue to see snaps in the red zone.
  • BAL Tackle #80
Crockett Gillmore caught his lone target for five yards in the Ravens’ Week 1 win over the Bills.
Gillmore played behind starter Dennis Pitta, who made his first regular-season appearance in nearly two years. He’s going to need to pass Pitta or an injury to come into any sort of fantasy value. Gillmore is the blocker right now.
  • BAL Tackle #80
Ravens TE Crockett Gillmore (thigh) didn’t practice Wednesday.
The missed practice puts his status for Sunday’s game up in the air. Gillmore not playing would be good news for Dennis Pitta’s Week 9 value.
  • BAL Tackle #80
Ravens TE Crockett Gillmore (thigh) has been ruled out for Week 9.
This could translate to a few more snaps and targets for Dennis Pitta. Gillmore was seeing red-zone targets ahead of Pitta earlier in the season.
  • BAL Tackle #80
Ravens TE Crockett Gillmore (thigh) is doubtful for Week 12 against the Bengals.
He’s going to miss his fourth straight game. Darren Waller will continue to play opposite Dennis Pitta in two-tight ends sets.

Ravens TE Crockett Gillmore says he dealt with a “broken back” in 2016.
Gillmore, who was coming back from twin shoulder operations, was limited to seven games by back, hamstring and thigh issues. He didn’t play after Week 7. Gillmore made a little fantasy noise in 2015, but his moment in the sun seems to have come and gone.
