Browns defensive end Courtney Brown suffered a foot injury Sunday that may end his season.

  • DEN Defensive Lineman
Browns defensive end Courtney Brown, out for the season with a foot injury, is not likely to receive a roster bonus this winter.
He’ll either be released or his contract will be re-worked. The former top five pick has ended the last four seasons on injured reserve.

Broncos declared DE Courtney Brown, WR Brandon Marshall, WR Charlie Adams, OL Chris Kuper, OL Adam Meadows, DL Elvis Dumervil, and LB Nate Webster inactive for their Week 1 contest.
David Kircus is Denver’s third receiver. Dumervil led the NCAA in sacks last season. Kenard Lang will start in place of Brown.
  • DEN Defensive Lineman
Courtney Brown told the Browns he has no plans of retiring after his latest season-ending injury.
His teammates call Brown an inspiration for continuing to rehab after four straight season-ending injuries. Brown tore a ligament in his foot in week two.
  • DEN Defensive Lineman
Former #1 pick Courtney Brown is officially done for the season with a foot injury.
Brown will need six months to recover and many wonder if this latest setback is career-threatening. Brown has finished four straight seasons on injured reserve for injuries to both knees, his ankle, neck, and elbow.
