Freddie Brown

MIN Wide Receiver
Vikings signed WR Freddie Brown, CBs Cord Parks and Simeon Castille, FB Ryan D’Imperio, OG Seth Olsen, and DT Tremaine Johnson to reserve/future contracts.

They were all 2010 Vikings practice squad members. Olsen was the highest draft pick -- a fourth-rounder in 2009 by the Broncos. Brown put up a ton of stats at Utah, but projects as no more than an offseason practice wideout.

Rams waived DE Sean Conover, LB Freddie Harris, S Jeromy Jones, CB Cord Parks, and DT Ernest Reid.

Conover has floated around to the Titans, Falcons, Ravens, Jets, and Lions after going undrafted out of Bucknell in 2006. Parks saw special teams action with the Rams last year.

Seahawks waived DT Quinn Pitcock, WR Cord Parks, CB Marcus Brown, C/G Jeff Byers, and OG Mitch Erickson.

Pitcock came out of retirement at age 26, but he didn’t show enough in a month to make up for two years away from the game. Parks saw plenty of action as a returner during the preseason, but he got squeezed out at receiver.
